This is important folks, these two women's lives are at stake. Please make sure everyone you know is aware that two American journalists are being held captive right now in North Korea. They need to be allowed to come home immediately. If people aren't aware, there won't be enough pressure to make it happen. That's just the way it works unfortunately. So spread the word, contact your congressmen, your senators, the president, your friends all over the world, anyone you can think of. The United States is one of the most powerful nations in the world, don't tell me we can't get these two back safe from North Korea.

American journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee were detained by the North Korean government under unclear accusations of illegal border crossing and some vaguely defined crime against the Korean nation. They have been tried behind closed doors and have been sentenced to 12 years of hard labor in North Korea.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has written a letter to North Korea seeking the release of the women on humanitarian grounds. Governor Schwarzenegger declares that California is ready to do everything in its power to bring the two women home. Even musician Mike Shinoda of the band Linkin Park has posted about this tragedy on his blog with links encouraging people to sign petitions and write to representatives.

All over the country vigils and gatherings are being held to increase awareness of the plight of these two journalists.

There is still plenty more to do. Sign the petitions and write to your government to keep this continually fresh in people’s minds and at the top of priority lists. It helps simply to let people know you care and that you want them home safe.

Alright so we've been laying kind of low around here lately. Hillary lost the primary, and Obama went on to beat McCain and take the presidency. Congratulations Obama on a job well done. It's one of the first times in recent history where someone managed to win by running a good clean, honest campaign. There was a lot of mud slinging early on, but most of it was done by the media. They just liked to stirr up controversy where there was none to be found. Oh what a mess this country seems to be in lately, I just hope Obama's plan for change is the right prescription.

A big congratulations to Hillary Clinton for her new job as Secretary of State. You know, the 90s were a great time for the United States. I'm not sure how much power Obama is going to give to her, but I am confident she'll give it her all in restoring our relationship with the rest of the world. We're all at a time of crisis right now, not just the United States. It's more important than ever that we work together to solve these problems and strive to get back on the right track. If there's a way to prosperity, then we're going to see it in the next 4 years, because for the last 8 years we've had our hands tied behind our backs.

Good lord people. We were up all night long in talks with supposed insiders, trying to get some details on the rumor that we're on top of. We have more information, but we're trying to confirm sources at this time.

What's odd though is at the same time we're learning of this rumor that she's quitting the race, Hillary Clinton is begging us for money.

Folks, we realize this is going to break a lot of hearts out there, but we have learned some things about Hillary that have broken our hearts. We're not at liberty to say exactly what that is at this point, but let me just say this: Hillary is not what she portrays herself to be. She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. We've been struggling with this these past few days and there was a lot of debate as to whether or not we should publicly announce our dissent with Hillary, but we believe that it is best to be upfront with all of you that have supported us.

We have a lot of good people in this movement and most of you are good honest hardworking people. But we have been misled. Hillary is not the candidate to turn back America, she will keep us moving in the wrong direction that will most certainly turn to disaster.

We are not going to endorse a different candidate at this time, but we are calling off all support for Hillary Clinton. This was a very difficult decision and we hope you understand.

Bill Clinton needs to get back on the campaign trail

Folks, we're entering some difficult times as of late because of problems with the Hillary campaign's management. It is very unfortunate that the one candidate that can give hope to America once again has the most incompetent staff of all the campaigns. We need to get Bill Clinton back on the campaign trail. Where is he? Yes we have Hillary's mother and Chelsea out there with her, but they simply don't have the star power that Bill Clinton has. Let's face it - without Bill, Hillary is nothing. He is her biggest asset. So to keep him hidden in the closet during this very important part of the presidential race is beyond stupid.

Today I received an e-mail from Bill Clinton practically begging for money. I really hope this e-mail didn't go out to very many people, because it just reeks of desperation.

Dear VFHO,

It's one thing to have good intentions, another thing altogether to change the reality of people's lives. Hillary has been changing people's lives for as long as I've known her.

She did it in Arkansas when she made major improvements to our schools. She did it in the aftermath of September 11, when she helped first responders get the medical care they needed. Why do we have Bill Clinton in charge of sending e-mails? Again, he is the most important part of Hillary's campaign and should be out front and center. The campaign is dropping the ball and I'll be damned if I'm just going to sit by the sidelines and watch what chance we had crumble away. Please contact the campaign and let them know how you feel. I've been trying to get on the phone with them all day but apparently their staff is too busy sending out desperate e-mails begging for money. What happened to the hope, the passion, the message of peace and prosperity? I hate to be negative here folks but the fire that was once lit inside my soul is slowly being put out by the incompetency I have been witnessing day after day. I do have a glimmer of hope left though because it is not too late, if the campaign makes some changes and they make them right now. But the primaries are right around the corner and we need to get our act together.

For now, we need you all to keep up with the mission: restroom grassroots campaign. Apparently we can't count on the campaign to promote Hillary so we'll have to do all the work ourselves. We have been calling for some time now for Hillary's campaign managers to get their act together. Well enough is enough and today we're calling for Deputy Campaign Manager Bob Nash to be fired immediately. Apparently he's been sending around e-mails to members of the media, trying to get dirt on Barack Obama. Well not everyone in the media is on board with Hillary and some of them have released these e-mails to the public, making Hillary's campaign look unprofessional. Just how stupid can you get?

It's time to Smash the Nash, folks. This guy is about as dumb as a box of rocks and is the last guy you'd want to have anything to do with your campaign. Now that I think back to all the incompetence I've been seeing lately with Hillary's campaign, I'm willing to bet that it all stemmed from this worthless piece of s**** Bob Nash. I'm sorry folks, I hate to be rude. In an effort to come across as more down to earth to the average Joe, Hillary Clinton has begun bringing her mother and daughter with her on the campaign trail. This is a great tactic because it shows the undecided voters and even Hillary's detractors that she's not just about power seeking, she has a loving family like everyone else and can relate with everyday Americans. Not only that, but we here at Vote for Hillary Online have had a secret crush on Chelsea for years and it's great to see her back.

Hillary Campaign Drops Celine Dion Song

Folks, we have been infiltrated, that is the only way to explain the absolute incompetence of Hillary's campaign managers. I'm not sure who exactly on the staff is making some of these terrible decisions, but they need to be fired and they need to be fired immediately. If you'll recall, the official campaign asked Hillary's thousands of supporters to submit songs that would be effective as Hillary's campaign theme music. Celine Dion's song "You and I" was chosen overwhelmingly and it is the position of Vote for Hillary Online that it was the perfect song for Hillary's campaign as the lyrics went perfectly with the theme of bringing hope back to America.

When we first heard that this was going to be Hillary's campaign song, we were ecstatic because Celine has a way with words like no one else, and this song drives chills up and down my spine every time I hear it. The music is absolutely beautiful, and arouses emotions inside that I didn't even know I had. Imagine my disgust and absolute bewilderment when I read that the campaign has decided to drop the song, going against what Hillary supporters had voted for. Maybe they need to go back and learn what a democracy is. Hillary is our only hope to take back America and I'm not going to stand by and watch her campaign manager ruin all of our chances for hope.

We are calling on every single one of you to make your voice heard to the Clinton campaign. Oprah Campaigns with Obama: Whoopty Freakin Do

Possibly the most over-hyped useless event in history, Oprah will be giving a speech with Barack Obama at the Williams-Brice Stadium in South Carolina. The media is making a huge spectacle about this, and if you got all your information from cable news, you'd think it was the most important thing going on in the world. The fact is, if a presidential candidate needs Oprah in order to convince people to vote for them, that shows that they cannot get elected based upon their own merits alone. What's funny is that I don't see Oprah even doing much to sway voters one way or the other, and even has the potential to turn people off.

Obama is simply not presidential material; he could have all the endorsements in the world, but it would not change the fact that he is simply unqualified. What makes me mad though is that this is a huge distraction for the people. It gets the American people thinking maybe there is a better alternative to Hillary. They get lured in, they waste their time going to a stadium to hear him speak. And then they come home confused, demoralized, and betrayed. The candidate with the most experience, integrity, and real ideas for America's future is Hillary Clinton. No endorsements or lack thereof will have any effect on this fact. If anything good can come out of this, it will be that after hearing this catastrophe of a speech by Obama and Oprah, the people will realized that they have been conned into believing that Obama offered any real solutions. When reality sets in, the only answer will be to vote for Hillary.

Newsflash: Gennifer Flowers has just endorsed Hillary Clinton for President of the United States. Yes, THE Gennifer Flowers that Bill Clinton had an affair with many years ago in Arkansas. This is big news because for quite some time there had been growing animosity between Hillary Clinton and Gennifer Flowers over their love for the same man. The fact that Flowers can put all those petty disputes behind her and still realize that Hillary is our only hope for America simply shows how strong of a candidate Hillary is. If your past enemies come out to support you, you must be doing something right.

Honestly, we don't really know where Hillary stands on women's rights issues, but if the simple fact that she's a woman brings in a lot more voters, we're not going to complain. Chalk this up as yet another victory for the Clinton Campaign.

The opposition has stooped to a new low: the Hillary Nutcracker

They couldn't debate her on the issues. They couldn't question her on experience. Her whole life has been out in the public for everyone to scrutinize and they were unable to find any dirt. So what have they resorted to?

I was doing some research this morning and came across this website selling Hillary Clinton Nutcrackers. Apparently the most important presidential election in history is something to make a mockery of. Maybe the American people really are that stupid that choosing a candidate based upon their principles is too difficult and smears like this are more easily digested. I sincerely hope not - I am optimistic, but it's things like this that make me seriously doubt the sanity of some of my fellow Americans. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it was just one guy and a silly website, but I have seen this Hillary Nutcracker reported on from numerous sources, and not one has taken the time to condemn these childish acts.

We are in the process right now of getting this product taken off the market. I urge all of you to contact the makers of this despicable smear attempt and let them know how you feel.

CNBC Mocks Hillary as she lays out her mortgage plan

Hillary Clinton was on CNBC yesterday talking to Maria Bartiromo about her plans for the sub prime mortgage crises that aggressive lenders have gotten us into. The interview was going along fine but about 1:50 into it, the camera cuts away to anchor Dylan Ratigan who appears to be falling asleep and unaware that he is on camera. About about 5 seconds of this obviously unscripted moment, the shot goes back to Hillary talking to Maria. Alright, just a simple mistake, happens all the time, right? Think again. About 10 seconds later, the camera again goes back to Dylan Ratigan who is now smirking childishly at the camera - well aware that he is live on television. I cannot believe a well respected business network like CNBC would disrespect Hillary so blatantly on television. Did they not expect anyone to catch this? I honestly cannot see the thought process behind this one. Dylan needs to issue an apology and somebody should be fired immediately.

Grassroots Hillary. Mission: Restroom

We're constantly thinking of new ideas for the grassroots Hillary campaign in order to give you all a way to get involved without having to invest much time and effort. This past Sunday we got an e-mail from Frank Bremmer with a great idea to spread the word:

Hey VFHO,

First of all, thanks for all that you're doing to help ensure Hillary Clinton's election in 2008. I've never been involved in politics my whole life and it's a good feeling to be involved in something I can be proud of. It's unfortunate that you all had to call off the bumper sticker campaign but I thought of an idea last night that I thought I'd run across you guys. What if we took all the bumper stickers we have left over and put them on the walls and stalls of public restrooms? We could also leave a few pamphlets of information outlying Hillary's proposals next to the sink. It's not too often I see advertising in a restroom, so I really think it would stick out. What do you think?

Three words Frank, we love it! I have to admit, when I first read your e-mail I thought it sounded a little tacky. It didn't sound very presidential to be campaigning in public restrooms. But after sleeping on this for a few nights, I've come to the conclusion that this is one of the most genius ideas ever proposed. The key to this tactic is that it's a grassroots effort. We're not paid to promote Hillary on her behalf, we do this because we strongly believe in her candidacy. And by God we're going to do whatever it takes to spread the word about Hillary Clinton.

We are officially starting the Mission: Restroom campaign. Most of you probably have plenty of bumper stickers leftover from the previous campaign, and those of you that don't can simply log on to the official Hillary Clinton campaign website to order more. What we are going to do is plaster Hillary Clinton bumper stickers in restrooms all across the United States. If we all do our part, it will be almost impossible for someone to go to the bathroom without thinking about Hillary Clinton. We want them on the main walls, the inside of the stalls, and on the sink counters. No opportunity should be missed to get the word out.

A few things to go over for this mission:

Any public restroom is fair game. If anyone of the public has access to a particular restroom, by all means sticker it up.
Private locations with limited access to the outside public should be skipped over, unless you happen to work there. We don't need anyone getting arrested for trespassing.
Do not place stickers in the restroom in the presence of other people. You're going to get a lot of weird stares, and people will probably just remove the stickers as soon as they see you leave. If you enter a crowded bathroom, simply wait in a stall until the coast is clear.
Do not, under any circumstances, place a bumper sticker anywhere on a toilet. The reason a restroom is a good place to campaign is because it is frequented so often, but we don't need to be associating a toilet with Hillary Clinton.
If you can, leave a few Hillary pamphlets by the sink so that people who become curious by the stickers have a chance to take a closer look into what she stands for.
Last but not least: have fun. If we're not having fun out there, our efforts will start to get tiring pretty quickly. We recommend doing this with a friend.

Let's try to make it so there is no possible way a person could NOT run into a Hillary Clinton sticker within a week's time span. The primaries are approaching very quickly and time is of the essence. The best part about all this? It's absolutely free advertising, besides the mere cost of the stickers. This is 100 times more effective than any million dollar ad campaign. Let's make Hillary proud. I guarantee you that if we all do our part, Hillary Clinton will win this election by an absolute landslide and the opposition won't know what hit 'em.

Now, neither of these 2 candidates really stand a chance, but these are the directions that the parties seem to be going in. This unwillingness to compromise on issues is great in theory, but the reality is, politics is all about negotiation. You have to give a little to take a little.

The last president to fully understand this concept was Bill Clinton. He understood that sticking to the principles of the democratic base locks you in a corner with no wiggle room to work out deals that could work in your favor. Everyone loves to criticize politicians for flip flopping or endorsing policies that seem to conflict with what they stand for, but people have got to understand that politics is all a big game. And if you refuse to play the game correctly and you instead stand by a list of ideals that don't resonate with middle America, then you aren't going to be very successful. This is the reality, and this is the way it's always been and always will be.

Bush was able to market himself on this ability of meeting both sides in the middle, and that's how he got elected. But once he was elected, he betrayed the people by refusing to work with those of opposing views. Above all else, this is precisely the reason why Bush's poll numbers are so low. He tried to be everything-republican. His way or the highway. Believe me, history will not remember him in a good light.

That's why at this time more than ever, we need someone that isn't so stuck and stubborn in their narrow ideologies. We need someone who is flexible and understands that a good President has to work with both parties and consider all ideas. The American people's needs and wants are constantly changing, and a good leader needs to be flexible to adapt to that change. This is why we need someone like Hillary Clinton in the White house. A good representative of any group is someone who doesn't let their own personal views get in the way of carrying out what the people want. From what I can tell, Hillary Clinton doesn't really have deep personal views, so this conflict between leader and the people won't even be a factor.

MSNBC touched on this a little bit in an article entitled "Bill Touts Hillary's Work With GOP":

Today in New Hampshire, her husband noted the ways she’s worked with the opposite party, including a would-be rival. And he argued that more attention needs to be paid to candidates’ records and not to "pure politics."

“I argue to you based on a lifetime of experience that if you have spent as my wife has 35 years ... being a positive change maker, that indicates that you would be more likely to successfully execute change as president. If you have proved in the U.S. Senate that you could get things done with Republicans as well as Democrats, that indicates you’d be more likely to succeed as president.”

Bill hit the head right on the nail. In order to be an effective leader, it is essential that you learn to work with all sides and not be so isolated in your own ideals that you fail to see the real needs of every day Americans. I'm willing to bet that no other candidate realizes this fact, a fact that is only realized with a great deal of experience - something both Bill and Hillary have an enormous amount of.

An anonymous member of the opposition contacted us to let us know that some very devastating dirt is about to come out on Hillary Clinton. Now, we don't know the details of the scandal, we don't know if it has to do with campaign finance, fraud, murder, flip flopping on the issues..etc, it could be any number of things. But whatever it turns out to be, we must stand by our candidate in hard times - that's when true loyalty is demonstrated. We were debating whether to give everyone a heads up on this or not, but I do believe that by issuing a preemptive release, it shows the opposition that their smear tactics will not sway our principles. We will stand by Hillary in times of triumph, and in times where she needs our support the most. And folks, this is most definitely one of those times.

Let us keep our morale high and continue with the grassroots tactics. If you run out of bumper stickers, don't hesitate to send us an e-mail for help. The most important thing you all can be doing right now is promoting Hillary's message of prosperity, hope, and freedom. It's quite interesting to see where this race has taken us all, but it does sadden me that the opposition would get desperate enough to release some old information in order to get ahead. Obama Caught Lying About His Plan to Run for President

Now this is just hilarious. Speaking in Iowa today, Barack Obama tried to tell everyone that he was a different kind of candidate in attempt to contrast himself to our own Hillary Clinton. While everyone else has had a long term goal of eventually running for President, Obama spoke of how his run for president is more spontaneous and is a result of the tough times he feels he's the solution for. The problem with all this? It's a complete lie.

Let's face it, Hillary and Bill can take care of the White House just fine on their own. Hillary demonstrated courage, leadership, calmness in handling a unique and difficult event, and the ability to show optimism in a time of despair. Folks, we hate to be negative around here because we know that positive morale is very important for a grassroots campaign to stay motivated. But there is a growing trend with the official Hillary Clinton Campaign that is simply inexcusable. There is a reoccurring problem of Hillary arriving late to important conferences and endorsement meetings. Even worse, sometimes she doesn't even show up, leaving hundreds of supporters waiting for her.

Earlier this past November, there was a scheduled event in Bakersfield, California where Hillary was to give a speech to the Sikh community. From nysun.com:

Traditional food, elaborate costumes, and ritual sword fighting were on display as thousands of Sikhs celebrated a religious festival here yesterday, but the expected guest of honor, Senator Clinton, was a no-show. Mrs. Clinton also scuttled a fund-raising breakfast at a nearby fairgrounds where Sikh leaders had hoped to raise $1 million for her presidential campaign.

Mrs. Clinton's campaign offered no public explanation for the change of plans, though a spokesman seemed to confirm that she had been expected to visit with Sikhs in Bakersfield yesterday.

No big deal, right? Who cares about the Sikh community. Well, I don't know about you all, but it appears that she missed out on a $1 million fund raiser. We're talking free money here - the Sikh community had it all organized, and all Hillary had to do was show up. What makes this worse is that the campaign offered no reason for the cancellation, not even an attempt to justify this mistake. As for that $1 million? They're now planning on giving it to another candidate instead.

"I'll take $1 million from our Sikh people and give it to people who are going to work with us … not somebody who says they're going to work with you and deserts you at the end"

This was a disaster, a lost opportunity, and it filled up the press that day with negative quotes from Sikh community members. I'm really beginning to question just what kind of "leadership" is running this campaign.

More recently, there was a press conference held where Hillary was endorsed by New Hampshire's first lady and pediatrician Susan Lynch. The first line in the press covering this event? The fact that she was an hour late to this important endorsement.

This is a growing trend that we're becoming more aware of, and it shows the incompetence of Hillary's campaign management not only to us grassroots supporters, but to the rest of America that is still undecided. These types of errors are unprofessional and must be addressed immediately.

Join us in demanding that Hillary's campaign management either get their act together, or step down and let more experience personnel take over. Hillary Clinton is our only hope to take back America and I'm not about to let a few screw-offs in her campaign ruin this chance for us.

Crowd has the nerve to boo Hillary in Des Moines

I am absolutely disgusted with my fellow democrats for making a complete mockery out of the Heartland Presidential Forum. Hillary Clinton, along with 4 other democratic candidates spoke today in Des Moines, Iowa to address the concerns of the citizens of Iowa and lay out their positions before the voters. This event unfortunately turned out to be a huge sham, where most of the attendees weren't even residents of Iowa. It turned into a Hillary smear contest which seems to be standard procedure at these events as of late.

I'm sorry folks, we try not to be negative here, but the whole audience at the Heartland Presidential Forum was filled with a bunch of clowns. First of all, immigration reform is not a top priority - Hillary was forced to say this to appease the booing animals. Anyone who has been paying attention knows that Hillary's main focus is on the biggest issue of our time: health care. She understands that a socialized health care system is the only fair answer, and to be stuck in the greed motivated free-market times of the 19th century would be absolutely insane. But these clowns want to focus on immigration reform? Hillary actually has a sensible plan for immigration reform - she knows it takes more than 100 days. She also knows it's not something she can do alone and needs the legislature on board. For these questioners to pretend they don't know this fact is illustrating intellectual dishonesty.

And for Chris Dodd to try to come in as the big hero and give the crowd a resounding "absolutely" was just sickening. This was clearly pandering to the audience, and ignoring the real obstacles that are in the way of enacting effective immigration reform. How dare you Chris Dodd for attempting to marginalize Hillary. She was being attacked from all sides, and you had the opportunity to take the high ground and defend her. All you did was add fuel to the fire, and you should be ashamed of yourself. When Hillary becomes president, don't expect any high ranking positions Dodd. When you attack Hillary during the election, you're only hurting yourself for the consequences you'll have to face after she's elected. I would be very careful if I were you.

Hillary is the only candidate with a real plan for health care reform

The other day we wrote about the growing battle between John Edwards and Barack Obama over what to do about health care. Earlier we had thought that this was good for Hillary because these two would argue each other away into obscurity while Hillary would remain the clear leader. But now it is becoming evident that this spat is all a big setup in order to get more press. Unlike Hillary, Obama and Edwards simply can't get the time they want on television because they aren't interesting enough to be interviewed. They have found a way around this though: create a fake controversy, get the media to cover it, and they now have a legitimate excuse to be doing interviews - to respond to their "competitor". Well it seems that Hillary, and now Vote for Hillary Online, is on to this game.

Clinton campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle has written a letter to her counterpart at the Obama campaign, asking the Illinois senator to stop running what she calls a "false ad" in New Hampshire that claims his health care plan would cover everyone.

"Your advertisement not only contradicts the judgment of health care experts but public statements by your campaign and your candidate," Solis Doyle wrote, adding, "Senator Obama has pledged to put 'honesty first' in this campaign. In that spirit I respectfully request that you stop running this ad which is misleading voters in New Hampshire."

The letter is the latest dig in an argument that has been percolating for weeks. Clinton's plan includes an individual mandate that would require every American to obtain health insurance, while Obama's plan only mandates coverage for children.

Clinton’s camp often cites experts who say Obama’s plan would leave out 15 million people of the 47 million who are uninsured and notes that even Obama has called the plan "virtually universal." Obama has said he would offer subsidies to the working poor, and that over time the savings through his plan would allow everyone to be covered.

This is excellent political strategy here folks. Not only is this getting Hillary involved in the media-covered health care debate, but she offers the most conclusive and all-encompassing plans of all the candidates. I'm sorry folks, but the whole logic of "if just one person was helped, then it was all worth it" just doesn't cut it in this day and age. There are better solutions. We should not settle for simply having more Americans getting high quality health care. Our job isn't done until every American has high quality health care.

Health Care needs to be mandated just like seat belt laws are mandated. We realize not everyone wants to participate, but the government needs to enact policy that is for the benefit of all people, not just the ones that opt in. Having so many Americans uninsured is simply an embarrassment for us and to our image as a nation to the rest of the world. It could be argued that many of those without health care coverage realize this, and they're purposely not getting coverage because it will contribute to the perception that America isn't doing enough to ensure the health of its citizens. Yes, we have been infiltrated. Not every American "citizen" wants to see us do well. If there's a policy set fourth to make us all better off, they'll be against it. And leaving the window open for people to not get coverage is leaving an opportunity for the rest of the world to mock our great nation as incompassionate. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who recognizes this, which is yet another reason that we need to ensure her election (as if it wasn't clear already).

Man Takes Several Hostage at Hillary Campaign Office In N.H.

Folks, this just goes to show just how desperate the opposition has been getting as of late. It used to be that they just smeared Hillary in the media. Now you have guys with bombs storming the campaign office. If it wasn't evident before that we need some serious change in America, it should be downright obvious by now. The fact that lunatics are trying to stop our efforts is proof enough that we are the lone voice of sanity engulfed in a sea of confusion and hysteria. It's time for the American people to see through the clutter and realize that Hillary Clinton is our only hope for taking back America and getting it under control.

The Opposition Is Requesting More Hillary Plants

Kerr, a retired general who happens to be gay raised a question about the shunning of gays in the service. He wanted to know why gays were forced to keep their sexuality a secret at the risk of being kicked out of the military. Plant or not, this was an excellent question and it was fun to watch the Republicans squirm on the topic. All over the media today, there has been contrived outrage that the general didn't identify himself as a Hillary supporter. Well it turns out, some republicans actually like being questioned by the Hillary plants, and candidate Duncan Hunter actually sent Hillary a thank you letter!

John Edwards And Barack Obama Duke It Out Over Healh Care

It appears that John Edwards and Barack Obama have decided to take a break from smearing Hillary Clinton and have turned on each other. This is great news for us, as these two will attack each other into oblivion where the last person standing without a blemish is none other than our own Hillary Clinton.

I have to say, I feel a bit sick to my stomach just imagining that - then again, maybe that's what they want so we're lured into their flawed health care plans. On the one hand you have Obama, who obviously doesn't think that all Americans should have equal access to healthcare, and then you have John Edwards who apparently wants to force people to get health insurance at gunpoint. Fortunately we all have an alternative with Hillary.

I thought this little quote from Edwards was very telling:

"There are very substantive policy differences between us on this issue. I just want to make sure caucus-goers are aware of that," Edwards said.

Edwards said he has not seen details of how Clinton would enforce her mandate.

Hmm I wonder why John Edwards is so interested in Hillary's health care plan. Could it be that he's not confident in his own that he's trying to get ideas from the lead candidate?

Folks if you'll remember, a few weeks ago we started what we had hoped to be a massive bumper sticker campaign. We unfortunately had to call it off though due to legal concerns about interfering with private property. Well, imagine our delight when we got an e-mail from Hillary Clinton herself, backing the grassroots bumper sticker campaign. I think it's pretty safe to say that Mission: Bumper Sticker is back in progress. You know, grassroots efforts don't always correlate well with what the official campaign thinks the focus should be. We're all working towards the same goal, but obviously there is going to be some friction from time to time. But it's times like this where I feel really confident about what we're doing because we're both working together in this effort. It's a great time to be an American, and it's a great time to be a grassroots Hillary supporter.

Folks, this is the one thing we have failed to mention enough. Campaign financing is probably the most important aspect of being able to successfully run a presidential campaign and ultimately win. If a candidate doesn't have the money, they don't get respect from the media, and they don't have the means to run important ads on television. It's a sad state of affairs these days, but the fact is - the candidate with the most money is the one that wins the election. We didn't choose this, but this is the game we have to play in order to win.

Hillary Clinton needs our help. More importantly, her campaign needs our dollars. Without financial help, no matter how great she is as a candidate, the people simply will not be able to hear her message. We have got to start coming together in this effort, and realize that this cause is much more important than our individual lives. If you need a refresher on the topic of making sacrifices, please refer to this post. If you've been holding out, waiting for someone better to come along - it's not going to happen. The time is now, folks. And the candidate is Hillary Clinton. We need to start being more conservative in our spending so we can save up for Hillary's campaign.

I just got an e-mail from Todd Brenker in St. Louis, and he's been spending the whole week looking under couch cushions for extra change. I won't post his e-mail here, but he has a very moving story to tell about sacrifice, courage, and honor. This is about regular folk coming together with what little means they have, and collectively turning it into a big movement. A movement we can all be proud of. Something we can look back on later on and realize that we were apart of it all.

The time is ticking and the primaries are just around the corner. If we don't all come together in support Hillary, not just by our grassroots campaign efforts but also our generous donations, then this could very well slip through our fingers. Republicans accuse Hillary of planting questions at their debate

It's one thing to accuse Hillary of planting questions during the democratic debate. Even though that accusation is preposterous, at least it makes a little sense because a candidate would obviously want to receive soft ball questions to make themselves look good. But now they're actually trying to say she planted questions at the republican debate. I kid you not.

Retired Brig. Gen. Keith H. Kerr was named a co-chairman of Mrs. Clinton's National Military Veterans group this month, according to a campaign press release. He asked a question last night at the CNN-YouTube debate here, and after answers from candidates, debate host Anderson Cooper asked the general if he was satisfied with the answers.
The general then stood up and delivered what amounted to a two-minute speech, stopping only when the audience of 1,500 booed.
"American men and women in the military are professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians. For 42 years, I wore the army uniform on active duty, in the Reserve, and also for the state of California. I revealed I was a gay man after I retired," the general said.

If you were out working on the grassroots Hillary campaign like we were, you probably missed the republican debate last night. Fortunately we have Tivo. This was the CNN/Youtube debate where most of the questions to the candidates came from questions posted on Youtube from ordinary citizens all across the country. There were a wide array of questions - some silly, some serious, some downright ridiculous. One of the Youtube questions came from a retired general who happens to be gay. He raised a really important question about the failed "don't ask don't tell" policy. Essentially, his question was "why can't gays in the military be openly gay? Aren't we mature enough to accept different sexuality preferences?"

This was a very good question on an issue that has been kept under the radar for a few years, and it is refreshing to bring it back to the forefront. What was great about it though is that this is the one issue republicans are afraid of. They try to shy away from it any chance they get. They want to appeal to the conservative right by showing that they're against gay rights, but they don't want to appear to be homophobic and alienate those who sympathize with the gay movement. What was great about it though is that not only did the gay general submit his Youtube video, he was right there in the audience. It's pretty hard to tell a guy right to his face that he doesn't have the right to be open about his sexuality.

Now, as far as the allegation that he's a Hillary plant? He's the chairman of the National Military Veterans, which happens to be supported by Hillary Clinton. A retired general a member of an organization called "National Military Veterans"? I'm shocked I tell you, shocked.

Apparently we live in an age where we're not even allowed to be members of groups that support our cause. If we're to join any group, apparently we're to check every single member's background to make sure there could never be an argument for conflict of interest. This is an absolute disgrace, and it's pretty obvious that the Republicans are really stretching on this one.

At least somebody in the media actually gets it though, as evident by this headline: Gay YouTube General a Hillary Plant - So What?

I couldn't have said it better myself. Hillary's support is so wide and omnipresent, that it would be almost impossible to find someone that isn't tied to her campaign somehow. I could pick 5 random guys off the street and have them ask questions during a debate, and it's pretty likely that at least one of them would be a Hillary supporter. Face it folks: she's that popular. If you had her massive support, you wouldn't have to spend your time worry about her supporters. It's that simple.

For any of you out there that might be getting discouraged by all these bottom of the barrel tactics, I'd like to refer you back to the Grassroots Hillary Oath. We are going to win this folks, and there's nothing they can do to stop us.

Flipper TV: Exposing the Republican Front Runners

Folks, with the competition getting fierce these days where Hillary is getting smeared from all angles, we're always trying to get dirt on the other candidates and catch them in uncompromising situations. Well it looks like the Democratic Party had the same idea, and they actually followed around Republicans on the campaign trail in disguise as supporters, in order to catch them in their most embarrassing moments. This is the most genius idea yet, and we're a bit jealous that we didn't think of it first.

This morning we received an e-mail from Mike Gehrke, Research Director for the Democratic National Committee:

For a few months, we've had Democratic Party "trackers" recording hundreds of hours of Republican candidates in the field. From event to event, we've got footage of some pretty revealing moments. December 10th Democratic debate has been cancelled

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A televised debate set for next month among the Democratic presidential candidates will be canceled to avoid a potential conflict with striking Hollywood screenwriters, a source close to organizers said on Wednesday.

The decision by the Democratic National Committee came after several candidates said they would refuse to cross picket lines of the Writers Guild of America, which has been on strike against major film and television studios since November 5.

A debate among eight Democrats running for the White House had been scheduled for December 10 at the CBS Television City studio in Los Angeles, where striking writers have been routinely picketing.

I know this news may be a big disappointment to a lot of you that wanted to see Hillary stand her ground and take on the boys, but this is actually great news. Let's face it, everyone in America knows about Hillary Clinton and her positions. She has absolutely no problem with name recognition, as some of the other candidates do. These debates actually have more potential to harm her campaign than they do to help, simply because it gives exposure to the lesser known candidates. Right now if an election was held, I guarantee you Hillary would win hands down. But if John Edwards and Barack Obama were able to get enough air time to somehow convince the masses that they would be a more effective president, then they might have a real chance of taking away the election from us. Every debate I have seen so far has been nothing more than an obsessive smear campaign against Hillary. I'm really starting to question the importance of these debates in the different times we live in today.

Zogby Smogby: VFHO calls for massive boycott

Folks, there has been a lot of discussion about what the polls are saying lately. It only makes sense of course - we're at a very critical time in our nation's history with the 2008 presidential election approaching, and everyone's trying to get a feel for what the people really want. Sometimes polls attempt to gauge what issues are most important to Americans, and these are then used by the candidates in order to target their message. Other polls simply try to find out what candidate the average Joe plans on voting for. There are many polling companies out there that do the important job of getting an objective and accurate assessment for what the American people want: Research 2000, Survey USA, Mason Dixon, Rasmussen, Strategic Vision, and the one that's been getting the most attention lately - Zogby.

Now it's hard to imagine that a company named Zogby would be able to get very far in terms of getting people to take their polls seriously. You'd think they would have to spend most of their time proving that they're a legitimate organization. But, somehow they have managed to earn the respect of those who track the polls, and lately have managed to stir things up with some of their "findings".

Their latest poll attempted to pit each democratic front runner against each republican front runner in order to find out which candidate has the strongest chance of beating the republican nominee in the general election. They asked folks who they would vote for if given the choice of either Hillary or Giuliani, Hillary or Romney, Hillary or McCain...and so on. The "findings" of this poll were just released and Zogby claims that Hillary Clinton would lose to every one of the top five Republican presidential contenders while Barack Obama and John Edwards would defeat or tie every one of the Republicans. In other words, they're saying: "note to democrats: support either Obama or Edwards because Hillary doesn't have a chance in the general election."

Well, when we here at Vote for Hillary Online first heard about this, we were pretty disappointed with the American people's ability to make sound judgment calls and realize that a lot is at stake here in these bleak times. Then we realized that this was an online poll. You know, the same online polls that would lead you to believe that Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul actually have a chance? Hillary Clinton strategist Mark Penn was on MSNBC this morning and got straight to the point: "this is a meaningless poll." He's exactly right. As admitted by Zogby International, this was an interactive online poll (by the way, what's interactive mean, you can rig the results in real time?) and this is the first time they have attempted to use this medium for polling. You would think that they would do a few test runs first to ensure that this is in fact an accurate polling method. You can't exactly do a "random" poll online. The only people who respond to polls online are those who seek them out, and obviously the opponent's supporters are so afraid of Hillary's winning potential that they're trying to say she lost before the first vote is even counted.

Now, any respectful polling agency would have just brushed off this criticism, maybe issue an apology, and learn from their mistake. After all, who was watching MSNBC this morning? Nobody would have noticed, and they could fix their mistakes in private. Well it turns out that they got quite defensive over the constructive criticism offered by Mark Penn. Remember folks, always be suspicious of someone who gets defensive before you even have time to point the finger at them. Fritz Wenzel, Director of Communications over at Zogby International, issued this response:

Mark Penn: Buckling Under the Pressure of an Unfavorable Poll

All is fair in love and war, the centuries–old proverb states. Politics is not included, but given the way the game is played in modern–day America, maybe it should be. That’s the sense I had again this morning watching Mark Penn, the chief political strategist for Democrat Hillary Clinton, denigrate our latest Zogby Interactive survey simply because it showed his client in a bad light (Link to Latest Poll Number). Penn made the contention on the MSNBC morning news program hosted by Joe Scarborough (Link to Video)

Penn mischaracterized this latest online Zogby poll as our first interactive survey ever – a bizarre contention, since we have been developing and perfecting our Internet polling methodology for nearly a decade (Zogby Intreractive Methodology), and since Penn’s company has been quietly requesting the results of such polls from Zogby for years. We always comply as part of our pledge to give public Zogby polling results to any and every candidate and campaign that asks for them. What is interesting is that no other campaign has made as many requests for Zogby polling data over the years than Penn has made on behalf of Clinton.

Because Mark Penn is a quality pollster himself, we chalk up his contention that our poll is "meaningless" as a knee–jerk reaction by a campaign under pressure coming down the stretch. Several other polls – Zogby surveys and others – have shown her national lead and her leads in early–voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire have shrunk. This is not unusual. These presidential contests usually tighten as the primaries and caucuses approach.

Does this sound like someone who is impartial and objective? Does this seem like someone who actually cares about the truth? Or does it seem more like someone who got in the position that he did at Zogby in order to promote his anti-Hillary agenda. I think it's pretty clear what's going on here, and his comments speak for itself.

We hate to be negative here, but this is the state of politics we live in and pointing out the corrupt ways of the system is one step towards getting America back on the road to prosperity.

Barbara Streisand Endorses Hillary Clinton

Excellent Excellent Excellent. We have been waiting on this news, and I was hesitant to report it earlier because it was still in the works, but it's official now folks: Barbara Streisand has endorsed Hillary Clinton. It may seem that these days Barbara Streisand doesn't have much relevance as far as swaying voters one way of the other, but this is simply due to the fact that she doesn't get much media coverage. The people remember her, believe me. She's like the white Oprah - when she speaks, people listen. If there were any women who were on the fence about Hillary before, I can guarantee you that this is exactly what we needed to push them over the edge.

Streisand gave a speech of praise on why she has chosen to endorse Hillary as opposed to the others:

"Hillary is a powerful voice for change as we find our country at an important crossroads. Under her leadership, our country will regain its respect within the global community. She will prioritize issues of global climate change, universal health care and rebuilding a strong economy. After eight long years, the public will once again have faith in their government."

I couldn't have said it better myself. She realizes that America is going through tough times, and we are desperately seeking someone who can give us all hope once again and carry us into 8 years of prosperity. You can either be oblivious to the problems America faces, or you can get involved and make history. Barbara Streisand is the true definition of a patriot.

When you get criticized by Republicans, you must be doing something right

The unrelenting smear campaign against Hillary Clinton has been going on for as long as she has been running, but now the Republican candidates are starting to get in on it too. But for different reasons. You see, the media has had somewhat of a personal vendetta against Hillary right from the start, and they've done everything they possibly can to run her good name through the mud. They do this for ratings, and they love to bring someone up only to tear them down. More importantly, they thrive on chaos, and it doesn't matter to them if our nation suffers because of it - that's just more money for them to make on the backs of the working class. But the Republican candidates do it out of fear. They do it because it plays to their quickly diminishing base, in hopes that they can somehow rally the few loyal Republicans who haven't seemed to wake up to the fact that we need some change in America.

usatoday.com has an interesting article about this phenomenon, and it really speaks to just how low Republicans will steep when they're desperate and out of ideas. Instead of focusing on the issues as Hillary has done all along, it seems that Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani's secret recipe for success is to accuse the other of mimicking Hillary Clinton. First of all, I have to take issue with someone comparing a candidate to Hillary as an insult. She has put forth numerous proposals that she will enact as President, many of which address the growing problems we will soon be facing as a nation, and she has more experience in the White House than all of the candidates combined. Second of all, this really gets down to the core of what the Republicans are all about: empty rhetoric, an over reliance on smear tactics as a result, and a growing trend of separation politics that attempts to marginalize those with opposing viewpoints. I say bring it on Republicans. Bush's approval rating is at a historic low, and if the Republican strategy is more-of-the-same with an dismissal of new ideas, then this will most certainly set the stage for an inevitable victory for Hillary Clinton.

Hillary gets endorsement from a pediatrician in New Hampshire

Arriving nearly an hour late due to weather conditions, Hillary Clinton accepted the endorsement of New Hampshire's first lady, Susan Lynch.
Lynch said with the exception of her husband, she rarely publicly gets into politics. But, she added, "Hillary and I share a lifelong commitment for fighting for a very important goal, and that is health care for children and families. And I believe Hillary is the candidate who can finally succeed in this area."

Clinton cited Lynch's experience as a pediatrician and praised her for her work to promote health care and prevent childhood obesity. "It's really time to promote prevention and that's what Susan has talked about."

Folks, this isn't just any pediatrician, this is Governor of New Hampshire John Lynch's wife. New Hampshire is probably the most crucial state right now for the primary. As of September of 2006, John Lynch has an approval rating of 72%, the 4th highest in the nation. If we can somehow transfer that approval rating to the approval rating of Hillary Clinton - this endorsement most certainly being a catalyst - we'll be able to completely obliterate the opponents on election day (Jan 8). This is definitely great news, although we have no doubt the smear merchants will try to spin this somehow.

By the way, I couldn't help but notice the mention that Hillary arrived almost an hour late to this important address. This isn't the first time I've heard of this happening; the official campaign needs to get their act together. We can't let these minor problems stand in the way of a victory for America.

Push Polling: An Underutilized Technique

We're in the process of kicking off a new Grassroots Hillary campaign for all of you to participate in. We'll get more into the details in the coming days ahead, but I thought it would be best to start with an introduction into the topic, because it's fairly unknown to many supporters. This is a tactic called push polling, where a campaign attempts to influence or alter the view of respondents under the guise of conducting a poll. Normal political polling is usually done by third party firms in order to gauge the popularity of candidates and issues. A call center employs a number of workers to make thousands of phone calls to homes all across America. The polling agents in this situation strive to be as objective as possible, so as not to skew the results. What makes push polling different is its objective: instead of trying to gauge the popularity of different candidates, it attempts to get the word out about a specific candidate or issue.

As unethical as this tactic may appear at first glance, it has actually been used for years in various campaigns. George W. Bush used the push polling tactic against Senator McCain while competing in the 2000 republican primary. Obviously it worked, because George Bush ended up winning by a landslide. Push polling also is already being used in the republican primaries this election in order to cast public doubt on Mitt Romney's ability to lead as a Mormon. This is obviously not for the light hearted, but if you took a light hearted approach to presidential campaigning, I'm not sure you'd make it very far.

What we plan to do in this grassroots push polling campaign is 2 fold: increase the public's awareness about Hillary Clinton's strong points, and to raise questions about the opponents' flaws. This is just like marketing, except we're selling ideas, not products. And what we're offering is a chance to take back America and be proud once again to live in this great nation of ours. This would not be such an important time for Hillary if the opposition wasn't so deeply corrupt, but we here at Vote for Hillary Online believe this is our only chance at restoring prosperity.

Now, we're just a grassroots effort. We don't have a major call center, and we don't have enough money to be making long distance phone calls all around the country for hours at a time. This is where you come in. We believe we have enough supporters here in every major city to cover most of the important areas. Obviously some areas are more crucial than others, but don't fret if you're in say Kansas - there's plenty of people to be called there too. We're going to divide these calling areas up according to where you live so most of the calls you will be making are local. You don't need any special license to do this or anything, this is just one neighbor calling another.

We will get into more details in the coming days as I mentioned before. We'll even make scripts for you to follow (don't worry, we don't expect you all to be expert telemarketers). We also want to make sure that we don't double up and accidentally have some homes getting called several times - that could cause a backlash. Also, if you have any expertise in this area, feel free to volunteer any tips.

Note: if you have any ethical qualms about this at all, please just focus on another grassroots campaign tactic. You can put out signs, work on the e-mail campaign, or put bumper stickers on cars. We don't want to have you doing something you'll feel bad about later (which seems pretty preposterous, but we realize we have a mixed audience here).

We almost have this completely set up, we just need to know who will be able to volunteer. As soon as we get that information and our lawyers give us the greenlight, we're ready to roll. Expect it to start Dec 5 at the very latest.

Obama can't take on Hillary, decides to go after...Madeleine Albright?

A wise man once said that desperate times call for desperate measures. And if the latter is any indication of the former, it must be getting pretty rough over there at the Obama camp. It's getting to be pretty evident that Hillary Clinton is the clear front runner in this presidential race, despite all media smears working against her. For a while there, it appeared that Obama was actually making some headway in his attempt to pull the veil over the American people with his ambiguous "new brand of politics" rhetoric. However, the truth always prevails, and over time Obama has realized that the strategy of wishy washy politics just ain't gonna cut it. He's decided to step it up a notch by beginning to attack Hillary. But I think he might have just realized that that's the worst possible thing he could have done. After all, this doesn't sound like the new brand of politics of which you speak Mr. Obama, and it certainly doesn't put you in a positive light to be bullying around the first female president of the United States.

So what does he do now? Does he retract his statements and apologize as McCain has respectfully done? Does he take the high road and get back to the issues that matter? Nope. Instead, he's starting to go after Hillary's top-tier supporters in an indirect smear effort to call in to question Hillary's credibility. He's now going after Madeleine Albright.

"If [Hillary] wants to tout her experience of having visited countries, that's fine," Obama said. But, he added, "I don't think that Madeleine Albright would think Hillary Clinton was the face of foreign policy during the Clinton Administration.

You might want to know exactly what you're talking about Mr. Obama before you start running your mouth about what other people should think. Shortly after, Madeleine Albright released a statement:

The former first lady "had represented American interests and values during her visits to more than 80 countries" and would "be ready from the very first day to lead our nation in a dangerous and complicated world, which is why I am supporting her candidacy."

Now, many of you reading this may not see this as Obama attacking Madeleine Albright, because it's done in a concealed manner. But what he has tried to do is force words into her mouth before she even has a chance to speak, in an effort to make her appear to be the antagonist if she happens to disagree. Also, it has been well known that Madeleine Albright is a fierce supporter of Hillary Clinton, so why Obama thought Albright wouldn't value Hillary's honorable service and experience as the first lady for 8 years is beyond us here at Vote for Hillary Online. Either this is out of ignorance, or there is a greater scheme behind all of this that will most definitely become more apparent in the days to come.

Hillary Clinton is by the far the most electable candidate

The fact she is getting attacked from all angles demonstrates this perfectly. Just how often do you hear people attacking Governor and presidential candidate Bill Richardson? The American people are starting to realize that Hillary is the only candidate that has the guts to do what needs to be done to get us back on track. Economists told us all that whichever country can make certain products most efficiently, then that's who should produce and sell them. They told us how great it will be when rich America can buy all of their goods cheaply, made by workers at 50 cents/hour. We were supposed to ignore the human rights issue and understand the bigger economic implications. We were supposed to put aside the fact China is just one step away from being our enemy. Well for a while America was just coasting right along, not really paying attention, and happily buying all of the cheap products from China. We believed the economists, we believed Wal-Mart, and we believed George W. Bush. Folks, we have all been betrayed.

It seems like every other day now we're hearing about a huge recall on toys from China because they contain deadly amounts of lead. The reason China is able to make these products so cheaply is that there are barely any regulations these manufacturers have to follow. They are fly by night operations. They set up shop, make a few million lead contaminated toys, cash their check, and they're gone before the first child keels over and dies from lead poisoning.

What happens is, a well respected brand like Fisher Price actually outsources their production to private Chinese companies. We may trust Fisher Price, but can we trust these third party manufacturers? We don't even know who these people are. We do know one thing: they put lead in the toys of American children. That's the one thing we know about them and quite frankly, that's enough for me. And that's enough for Hillary Clinton too. She is the only candidate who actually understands this mess and the potential for massive poisonings.

Taken from Nationalreview.com, here are Hillary's recommendations to remedy this fiasco:

Immediately require independent third-party testing for at-risk imported toys to ensure they are safe before they can be put on our shelves and sold.
Dramatically increase the number of product inspectors and deploy them as part of a strategy to meet the threat posed by imported toys.
Establish a complete ban on lead in children's products.
Increase and enforce both civil and criminal penalties for violators.
Require selected companies to pay a bond pending completion of third party testing to protect consumers and taxpayers from fly-by-night foreign importers.
Improve our system of toy recalls so that parents get swift notification and companies face swift sanctions if they don't remove recalled products from their shelves.

Not one candidate has offered a proposal to deal with this growing problem. If you can honestly read through that list of proposals that Hillary has put forth and say you don't agree with them, then I really think you don't belong in America. If you are actually insane enough to say that we should allow toys containing harmful amounts of lead in the marketplace, then you'd probably be better off in a psychiatric facility - heavily sedated. This is about our children, and our future. You can't separate those two. But we can separate ourselves from China. It would be simply un-American not to.

We have got to start making more sacrifices

Basically this person says they would like to help with the grassroots campaign, but they just don't have enough time. I'm going to post his message here so you can all see what I'm talking about. I am a huge Hillary Clinton supporter and have following what you guys have been doing for a while. I think this is great that supporters have a resource they can go to and start making some real changes on their own. I really wish I could join in and help with the cause, the bumper sticker campaign sounded like a lot of fun. But I recently went through a divorce with my wife, I'm raising 3 kids by myself, and I'm trying to hold down 2 jobs to make ends meet. It's getting pretty tough...I've just been too busy to help out. Is there anyway someone like me can join in the grassroots campaign? I know a little html, maybe I could help with the website. Just let me know.

We've gotten a few e-mails like this from various Hillary Clinton supporters. Let me tell you something: if you don't do everything you can to ensure Hillary Clinton is elected in 2008 and she ends up losing, your measly 2 jobs will be the least of your worries. These things that seem important now and justify our time away from supporting Hillary will seem like nothing when you see what the other candidates have in store for ruining America. It's time we quit with the excuses. If you're not out there every day busting your ass for Hillary, then you're working against the campaign. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. We have got to make some sacrifices and stop whining around. That's how you lose a campaign. People start worrying about all these meaningless distractions in their lives. Next thing you know, the opposition will win and in a few years we'll all be speaking Arabic. Yes, it's possible.

And no, we don't need any of your "help" with the website, thanks. I know that most of our supporters think we're doing just fine in that regard. It's time to get off your ass and do something. Nobody ever won an election sitting around on the internet all day long. I'm simply tired of all the excuses, and I know a lot of you out there are too.

I apologize if I came off as a little harsh, but this simply had to be addressed. We appreciate all of the support and effort, but if we could all just sacrifice a little more, victory would be that much more possible.

Do not be deceived by those who claim less government is better

More and more these days we hear people clamoring that we need to return to our 18th century roots of bare-bones government. These people truly believe that somehow taking away the government's responsibility to its people will lead to this great utopia. Before I completely obliterate this flawed notion, I will concede that they do have good points about government inefficiencies. However, the conclusion they end up making is in the opposite direction of the real solution. I suppose it's easy to understand this growing trend of anti-government ideology if you look at how poorly the Bush Administration has done to drive America into the ground these past 7 years. When people see inadequacies of the government, or cite all these examples of how it makes things worse, these all stem from the corrupt and incompetent actions by the Bush administration. They are confusing the two. They see how bad the Bush administration is, so they blame it on the concept of government in general.

If you actually look at the problems that they cite as examples to why we need less government, you'll realize that the problem was in fact a lack of government intervention. Look at what happened after Hurricane Katrina. This was clearly a problem of not enough government resources able to handle a crisis situation. You have to have good leaders and resources in times of crisis, and when you don't it can lead to disaster. If you have a decision between making sure we can handle hard times or an option of saving a few dollars by less taxes, I think it's pretty clear which one is more worth it to the American people. Look at the 911 tragedy. We were unable to prevent it given the current power and resources the government had at the time. Which type of government do you think is more apt to preventing a terrorist strike: one of the 18th century? Or one where we can use the Patriot Act to stop crime before it happens.

These delusional people also believe that we would be better off if the government wasn't involved in health care. They apparently ignore the fact that if it was a true free market with no government assistance, doctors would be price gouging like mad and only the rich would be able to get decent health care. You think doctors will just start offering their services for free out of the goodness of their heart? Maybe a few of them perhaps, but it wouldn't be nearly enough to handle the nation's poor, and good hearted doctors shouldn't have to be burden with what should be the government's responsibility.

Without government programs, we would not have well maintained roads, public education for any child, welfare programs for the poor, police, firefighters, an army to protect our nation, or the FDA to ensure that the medication we give our kids is safe and effective. If you want to do away with all that, then by all means go off to some deserted island and start your own country. But some of us realize the value in these things. The problems arise though when they're mismanaged by administrations that have no clue what they're doing.

It's important though that in order to be more reliant upon the government, we must be more educated so we can elect politicians who will get the job done right. Obviously, more government in Bush's hands is a bad thing, but I guarantee you under Hillary it will be a hell of a lot better. And that's why the whole smear campaign against Hillary by the media is so important to address. It takes away the American people's ability to make a sound decision based on facts.

Message to Greedy Student Loan Predators: Your Days Are Numbered

The New York Times today had an excellent piece on Hillary's proposals for the student loan industry on their blog. This should be required reading for any serious grassroots Hillary Clinton supporter. Just as there is a massive health crisis in the United States as a result of greedy Health Insurance companies and doctors that do nothing to lower their costs, we have a similar problem with College Education, where tuition costs are rising at astronomical levels, as well as the ever-increasing interest on student loans. The average American is absolutely getting crushed from all angles. We thought we were doing the right thing by going through the system and getting a higher education. We also thought we were doing the right thing by getting health care coverage for our families. But the circumstances that greedy corporations have put us in today are making it harder and harder for any decent American to increase his or her quality of life.

What may seem like a minor point, but we feel like is really at the heart of the problem, is the loads of paperwork and reading of fine print that is required of us to take advantage of programs that should be entitled to everyone. Each additional form someone has to fill out is an additional layer of confusion that attempts to discombobulate people so much into throwing up their hands and giving up. Making something easier encourages a behavior, while making something more difficult takes away incentive. It is the opinion of Vote for Hillary Online that the United States government is actually trying to curtail higher education in order to keep us all in the dark. They do this by creating hard to understand forms and by increasing the financial burden.

Let it be known that this isn't the first time a Clinton has tried to help American citizens with the growing burdens associated with education. If you'll remember, in 1990 Bill Clinton was a strong proponent of the Federal Direct Loan Program. This program would essentially take out the middleman which exists solely to profit on what should be a consumer-to-provider transaction.

A wonderful excerpt illustrates exactly why Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who understands this mess:

“It would give student borrowers the right to fair monthly payments that do not exceed a percentage of their incomes, as well as access to fair interest rates and fees. The bill would also give students the right to shop in a free marketplace for their lender and to borrow without exploitation. Finally, the bill will give students access to better information about their loans to provide students with better options during repayment.”

Fair monthly payments based upon income.
Fair rates that keep Americans' hard earned money in their wallet where it belongs.
The right to comparison shop in order to get the best value for your dollar.
Increased options to pay off student loans.

I would be hard pressed to find just one decent America who could honestly argue against these initiatives. This is another one of those times where I feel that the Hillary Clinton detractors have simply failed to take an honest look at her positions and proposals. If you're against better education, interest rates that don't burden students, and less paper work in order to make the process easy to understand, then by all means - vote for someone else. Just don't come crying to us when you end up going bankrupt 5 years after graduating from college.

Media's Illusionary Roller Coaster Ride of the Hillary Campaign Continues

Last week, when the media was claiming that Hillary Clinton reclaimed her standings during the last debate, we were suspicious. We knew that just a few days earlier, those same members of the media were hinting that Hillary's campaign was in the midst of a disaster. As we stated before, the media likes a drama; they want a rollercoaster ride that takes Hillary on a course which ultimately lands at the bottom. Well folks, apparently the media has decided it has reached the top of this particular hill and is ready to portray the image of a downturn.

I was almost sick to my stomach to read this article from Suntimes.com entitled "Hillary bracing for possible letdown in Iowa". The media is back in full hit-piece mode. They're trying to jerk around the American people so much that they give up on the democratic process and decide not to vote.

Here are some excerpts:

"Is Hillary running scared in Iowa?

"Hillary Clinton must be worried.

"Clinton, whose husband, former President Bill Clinton, did not run in Iowa in 1992, may not have immediately understood the peculiarities of the Iowa caucuses.

"Still, the fact that Hillary Clinton has felt the need to slap her opponents after her previous silence suggests a discomfort about her security as front-runner.

To all of the people that have been e-mailing us (most likely members of the opposition in disguise) and complaining that we're overreacting - some have actually stated that the media is in cahoots with Hillary Clinton - do you really need any further evidence that what we have been saying here at Vote for Hillary Online has been right all along? You just watch, they're going to bring her down just like they did before the last debate. And then, just like clockwork they will appear to build her up again. Hillary Clinton's Favorite Color is Yellow

We here at Vote for Hillary Online are constantly trying to get a feel for what others are saying about her, and how she's perceived in the media. It's part of our job, so we're often visiting all types of resources on the internet. The John Hopkins University website has a profile of Hillary Clinton that outlines her upbringing and political career. One thing that caught my eye though was this little revelation: "Senator Clinton’s private office in the Russell Senate Office building is covered in her favorite color, yellow, and she always keeps fresh granny smith apples in her office refrigerator." Maybe an odd thing to be curious about, but I have always had a fascination with why certain types of people tend to prefer one color over another.

Well I did some investigating, and it turns out there is a whole science behind this phenomenon, and you can actually tell a lot about someone by their favorite color.

Yellow: The color of happiness, wisdom, and imagination, Yellow is chosen by the mentally adventurous, searching for novelty and self-fulfillment. Yellow usually goes with a sunny and shrewd personality, with a good business head and a strong sense of humor. It is the color of intellectuality and all things to do with the mind. Yellow folks are usually clear and precise thinkers who have a good opinion of their own mental capacities and who have lofty ideals. Now you may not buy into the whole color theory but...good business head, strong sense of humor, intellectuality, freedom of thought and action... I gotta be honest, but if someone had just shown me a list of these attributes, my first guess would have probably been Hillary Clinton.

This is definitely a science worth looking into.

Can a Dictatorship Actually be a Good Form of Government?

I realize there is an extreme amount of stigma attached the the word "dictator" or "dictatorship".

First, let us define these terms. Wikipedia says a dictatorship is "an autocratic form of government in which the government is ruled by a dictator." A dictator is defined as "an authoritarian, often totalitarian ruler (e.g. absolutist or autocratic) who assumes sole power over his state". Essentially, a dictatorship is a form of government by which one person rules over all government policy in the country. We usually think of a dictator as a power hungry leader overcome by greed and self interest at the expense of his people. However, there is another type of dictator: the benevolent dictator. A benevolent dictator is defined as an absolute ruler who exercises his or her political power for the benefit of the people rather than exclusively for his or her own benefit.

The negative images we have of a dictator are actually based upon the fears that we have of one person being able to control every aspect of our life. But the fact that a country may be run by a dictator only speaks to the core of decision making, and not the extent of government intrusion. Simply put, the potential for the government ruling every aspect of our lives is just as likely in a republic than it is in a dictatorship. In fact, you could argue that a governing body of many would have a tendency to be more intrusive, because you are faced with multiple people with the power to gain at the peoples' expense. There is a limit to just how much one greedy dictator can take from his people. But in a massive government body, the likelihood of members exploiting their citizens for their own gain has the potential to run rampant, with no end in sight.

A point I would like to address is the common misconception that inevitably every dictator will become intoxicated with his own power, and run his country straight into the ground by ignoring the people's needs in favor of his own self interest. This line of thinking implies that it's not necessary the fault of the dictator if he indulges in power at the expense of his people, but that it is the status of being a dictator that has the power to corrupt even a man of the strongest will. Basically, we are assuming that all people, if given the position of dictator, would eventually find themselves unable to resist the urge to be corrupt. Folks, I don't know about you, but I have better faith in my fellow human beings to assume something so astonishingly ignorant.

If we had a way to scrutinize potential leaders before handing over the job to them, I truly believe we could find a benevolent dictator. A person who realizes his great duty to his people, and fears what the history books may write about him 100 years from now if he's lured into temptation.

I was speaking to my good friend Joseph Birmingham on the way to a conference on Wednesday, and he offered some very valid points as to why a Dictatorship might actually the most effective form of government. I'll try to list as many as I can recall here.

A dictatorship is good at effective disaster relief. Being able to tell people where to live, and to move when you want them to, can be quite an advantage. Sometimes problems arise where a geographical area simply needs to be cleared out. Whether it's a hazardous situation, or an uprise by anarchists, this is something that a republic can't always do effectively because there will always be a voice against it.
Swift legislative reform. Whether it's enacting new environmental laws, amending a budget, or responding to some other pressing need, the decision gets made and things can happen quickly.
Unpopular decisions are sometimes the right decisions. Of course, it's better to educate people and get support for those decisions, but particularly when some kind of sacrifice is called for, people may be unwilling to do the right thing.
The money spent on democratic mechanisms. You would be shocked if you found out how much congress costs us every year. The cost of voting, the millions of dollars spent on election campaigns, and the premium health care packages for legislators just to name a few.

Now, I'm not necessarily calling for a dictatorship. But I do think it is wise to at least take an honest look at other forms of government. We here at Vote for Hillary Online feel that open debate on even the most uncomfortable topics is crucial for our stability as a nation.

Folks, it has been rumored that the Hillary campaign has gotten wind of some serious dirt on Barack Obama. We discussed this last week quite thoroughly. We noted that the Hillary Clinton campaign has too much integrity and values to release this information. Well, if there truly is dirt on Obama, we here at Vote for Hillary Online would like to get to the bottom of what it is. We are not endorsed by the official campaign here, so we do not necessarily need to abide by the same policy of not releasing the information. And if in fact this is as devastating as we think it may be, then it is important that the American people know about it. Adequate information in the hands of the voters is vital to a healthy democracy so we can all make informed choices.

We are offering $100 for this information that was rumored to exist. By the way, please do not waste our time with information that is already available to the public. We already know that Barack Obama used to be a heavy drug user.

Some conditions:

It has to be new information not already in the media
It must be true
It has to be verifiable
It must be damaging to his career if made known

Who Would Make A Good Vice President for Hillary

As it's becoming more and more evident that Hillary Clinton will win the nominee and ultimately become elected President of the United States, a subject that we're starting to focus on more is who will be the Vice President alongside Hillary. It's pretty likely that she will choose from one of the democratic candidates currently running for president.

Here's what we have to choose from:

Senator Joe Biden
Senator Christopher Dodd
Former Senator John Edwards
Senator Barack Obama
Governor Bill Richardson

There are also a few fringe candidates running like Dennis Kucinich, but the serious contenders narrow down to this group here.

At first glance, one of the things that pops out right away is the fact that there are 4 Senators and one governor, Bill Richardson. One benefit that Bill Richardson has is that he has experience working in the executive branch of New Mexico. The problem is, he is used to dealing with problems mostly pertaining to that of New Mexico and may not have a clear view of the problems we face as a nation. Another downside is his lack of name recognition and popularity. He may not alienate any Hillary supporters, but he isn't likely to bring in any new ones either. Quite frankly, Bill Richardson running as Hillary's vice president with either have a neutral or negative impact. That simply isn't good enough for Vote for Hillary Online.

Joe Biden and Christopher Dodd also have the problems with popularity and name recognition. Make no mistake, these candidates have their loyal followers, but we're talking about mainstream America here. Chris Dodd is even viewed as a fringe candidate to some. Again, these two candidates will either have a neutral or negative impact on Hillary's campaign and presidency. Not good enough.

We are left with the well known front runners: Barack Obama and John Edwards. I want to point out a very simple contrast between these two: John Edwards is far to the left and does not shy away from his beliefs, and Barack Obama tries to pander more down the middle to appeal to a wider audience. John Edwards threatens to take away health care packages from legislators if health care isn't made available to all of the American people, and Barack Obama shies away from conflict - he wants a new brand of politics that calls for people to come together. Both have their pros and cons. John Edwards gets respect for looking out for America's lower class and sticking to his guns about his stances, but he also runs the risk of alienating the middle and upper class. Barack goes for all inclusive friendly approach, yet often comes across as a wobbler because he never takes a tough stand on anything.

While Vote for Hillary Online's ideologies more closely resemble that of John Edwards, we feel that some of his rhetoric may not be easily swallowed by the general public. Not to mention the obvious: There has never been a woman president or vice president, and there has also never been an African American president or vice president. We feel that the symbolic implications of having both of these things accomplished at one time would make this election much more powerful.

There is one other option though that we will start exploring in the days to come: Bill Clinton as vice president. Think it's not possible because the 22nd Amendment blocks a person from being elected president twice, while the 12th Amendment states the vice president must be someone who's eligible to be President? Think again.

Jacques Chirac's Wife Endorses Hillary Clinton

Great news folks: Bernadette Chirac, wife of former French President Jacques Chirac, has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president of the United States. Not only that, but she has vowed to support her on the campaign trail. If you will recall in our last post about the dynamic duo of Hillary and Bill Clinton, we mentioned the fact that the Bush administration has soured relations with just about every foreign leader. It's time for America to be respected in the world community again, not looked at with disgust. We're facing an important turning point in the world today, and we can either do the right thing and improve foreign relations, or we can continue to snub our noses at the rest of the world which will inevitably lead to dire consequences.

It was not too long ago that we were friends with the French. They were our ally in the world, and we shared a common goal of world peace and economic stability. This has been all but ruined by the Bush administration. The French dared to be a voice of logic in the wake of our senseless Iraq invasion, and we ridiculed them and even accused them of siding with terrorists. Remember freedom fries?

The fact that members of the former French administration are now endorsing Hilly Clinton should confirm the fact she is the only candidate who has a keen sense of the importance of sound foreign relations, and it's apparent that the international community is taking note.

Oh, and with this great news, certainly the media couldn't find a way to work this into their smear campaign, could they? They unfortunately do, although this time not so obvious. Note the headline: "Clinton wins surprise support from former French first lady" You really have to wonder what Reuters finds so surprising in this. This endorsement should be obvious to anyone who was paying attention.

Bill and Hillary: Two for the Price of One

Of all the candidates running for the opportunity to be ruler of the free world, Hillary is the most unique option because her presidency will essentially be giving Americans two for the price of one. Who are the spouses of the other candidates? Can you name more than two? Is there anything remotely interesting about any of them? Do they have strong leadership capabilities and experience? If any of the other candidates were to get elected, their spouse would simply play the role of the tag-along. They'll walk alongside the president before getting on board Air Force One. They'll smile for the camera, maybe give a few speeches at elementary schools about the importance of education. But at the end of the day, the spouses will have absolutely no role to play other than to make sure the White House is tidied up for when the President gets back from a trip.

Except in the presidency of Hillary Clinton. Folks, we need strong, clear leadership. There has never been a more important time in history where our country craves so much a leader who can get this great nation back in order from the chaos of the Bush administration. And with Hillary Clinton in office, you not only get her expertise and leadership skills, you get Bill Clinton's enormous experience and the ability to bring together a nation so often at odds. We here at Vote for Hillary Online think this has been a vastly overlooked component to the reality of what a Hillary Clinton administration would mean for America.

Foreign policy. Boring stuff right? Let me make it easy for you: Bill Clinton was a mastermind at developing important relations with the leaders of other nations all around the world. The world was at peace - not because we forced peace by submitting people at gun point, but because we listened to their concerns, and we used our massive power to help our allies in times of need.

The foreign policies of the Bush Administration have all but alienated all of our former allies because of our utter lack of respect for the interests of our neighbors. When Americans travel to Europe nowadays they have to pretend to be Canadian because Bush's actions worldwide have tarnished the perception of American people overseas. We need a complete reversal in order to regain respect and trust amongst our former allies in the world. We need someone who knows how to understand the concerns of other people, not scoff at them. We need someone who has experience in this area, and I'm pretty confident in saying that 8 years' experience in direct foreign relations is well beyond the experience any other candidate has.

America is suffering right now. Not only internally, but externally as well. What we need is exceptional leadership and I can't think of a better choice than the dynamic duo of Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Vote for Hillary Online is so dedicated to making sure Hillary Clinton wins this election that we've started a program that rewards those of you who post positive replies about Hillary on political blogs. By the way, we can't take credit for this idea, thanks Richard Sears! Our main premise is this: the opposition has the media by the collar. They are one in the same. One thing they don't have control over however is the internet. And we're not doing nearly as well as we could be doing at using this tool effectively.

Folks, we have monitored the traffic on our website. We see thousands pouring in daily, yet we only get a couple hundred e-mails from grassroots supporters wanting to help out in the cause. We know a lot of you just don't know where to begin. You've never participated in politics before. And that's fine! Gotta start somewhere, might as well be with Hillary.

We're giving you an easy opportunity right now to become part of the political process. I've come to find that a lot of bloggers who talk about Hillary in a negative tone simply don't know all of her positions on the issue. They've been caught up in the character assassination game that the media started. They simply need to be educated, and it's our job to correct them. Then you have other bloggers who are so caught up in other candidates, they haven't taken the time to look into Hillary and have simply ignored her out of ignorance. We can't get mad at these people, it's easy to understand how the opposition has made the United States a nation of sheep. It's not the people's fault however. And we won't be effective communicators if we approach them with that attitude.

But enough about that, you want to know about getting paid to write positive comments about Hillary. The way it works is this: in your spare time, you visit several political blogs. Whether they're for a specific candidate, undecided, or even a downright Hillary hater, your job is to post comments that portray Hillary in a good light. Each time you post a comment like this, make a note of the website's address in a text file (we recommend notepad). After a day's worth of blog commenting, send us an e-mail with that notepad file including all of the blogs you commented on. We will then visit a few of them to confirm you in fact leave the comments (Sorry folks, but there's always going to be someone out there wanting something for nothing). We will then pay you $1.00 per positive Hillary comment.

A couple things to go over:

1) Finding blogs. Finding blogs is amazingly easy and you don't need to be a computer expert to do this. A very helpful tool that we recommend is Google's blog search. What you want to do is start doing searches on all the presidential candidates. For example, you could type in "Mitt Romney" or "John Edwards" and see the latest blog entries that discuss these candidates. Or you could just do a search for "presidential election". Be creative, there are hundreds of possible searches you can do to find political blogs.

2) Some do's and don'ts: Write at least 2 sentences. "Vote for Hillary!" is not enough. Explain why that person should vote for Hillary. Also, Do not be insulting. People are more open to persuasion if you are friendly. Even if it is a blog by someone who hates Hillary, you have to bite your lip (or control your fingers).

A good example is this "Hello, this is a really interesting blog, I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I understand where you're coming from but I really think you should check into Hillary Clinton. She's got some really good ideas."

First, it compliments the blogger. Everyone loves to be complimented and it puts them at ease with whatever you're about to say. Second, you acknowledge their opinions. This shows that you are rational and are able to see both sides of an issue. Third, you mention Hillary and then explain why you are a Hillary supporter.

I know this is common sense to most people, but I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. If you need any help with this, don't hesitate to send us an e-mail.

The Smear Campaign Continues Against Hillary

We've had a few complaints earlier that we spend too much time focusing on the negatives such as the ongoing smear campaign against Hillary. Folks, we don't do this because we love to be negative - believe me, if the media was on our side, you wouldn't hear one peep of criticism from us. But the fact is, we are the only site that's holding the media accountable and exposing their Hillary attack-fest for what it is. We won't let them get away with this and continue to lie to the American people. That's what this is all about. This isn't just a smear campaign against Hillary. This is a wide-spread mechanism to deceive all of the American voters. If we don't stop it dead in its tracks now, it has the potential to set a disastrous precedent for every presidential race in this great nation's future.

There is something that we have been noticing lately that is a clear attempt to conceal the fact that the opposition is in cahoots with the media. There is an effort underway to make it appear that in fact, the media is in cahoots with Hillary. Anyone who has been paying attention knows this is the farthest thing from the truth, but the opposition is using something we like to call 180-degree logic in order to twist the public's perceptions in hopes that Hillary supporters decide not to vote on election day.

Folks, since when does the media accurately report on the media? The conflict of interest issue alone is staggering and enough to raise doubt among anyone with half a brain. Not to mention the fact that we know there is clearly a well orchestrated smear campaign against Hillary Clinton.

As to the notion that CNN is soft on Hillary? Well let's take a trip to CNN.com and see what kind of coverage they have going on over there relating to Hillary. Don't worry, we'll do it so you don't have to. We did a search on "Hillary" from their search bar at the top. The most recent headline that comes up? Poll: Clinton's lead shrinks in New Hampshire. Favorite quote of the article:

"One reason for Clinton's shrinking lead may be voter perceptions of her as a candidate."

Hmm I wonder why voters would have a negative perception of Hillary Clinton. I'm sure you had absolutely nothing to do with this CNN.

The Grassroots Hillary Supporter's Law

No, we're not talking about the kind of law you can get arrested for if you don't follow. We've created a grassroots Hillary supporter's law, which is a set of guidelines to live by and encourage others to live by. As Hillary supporters, we represent the Hillary campaign while we're out in public, whether we realize it or not. With this in mind, it's helpful to realize that we need to instill some order and discipline into our thoughts and actions so as not to be disrespectful. Unlike the oath, you don't have to say this one out loud every day, but do keep it in mind and we recommend printing this off and saving it in a safe place.

Hillary Clinton while giving a speech in Iowa, stressed the fact that we need someone who is experienced in office, not someone that will need on the job training.

Read this article from the AP.

She absolutely knocks it out of the park with this speech. Here's an excerpt:

"There seems to be a pattern here. It takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush."

"There is one job we can't afford on-the-job training for — our next president. That could be the costliest job training in history," Clinton said. "Every day spent learning the ropes is another day of rising costs, mounting deficits and growing anxiety for our families. And they cannot afford to keep waiting."

She hits the nail right on the head. Hillary has already had plenty of experience in the white house - 8 years longer than any of the other candidates. For the first few years the other candidates will be in office if elected, they will be just taking cues from advisers because they haven't learned the role themselves yet. And that's what happens. When someone is elected president, they hire a group of advisers to tell them what position they should take on a number of policies. Eventually they start making their own decisions, but this is a very crucial time in our history where we can't afford to wait around.

She also brought up a good point of rising costs. We need someone that's going to come in there and lower taxes to relieve the burden from the American citizens that Bush has put us all under. Taxes are killing mainstream America, and we need some real mainstream solutions to get this country back to something we can all be proud of.

Edit: a grassroots Hillary supporter sent us an e-mail to inform us that Hillary would most likely raise taxes. But my point still stands: we need someone with real leadership and real experience that can take on the toughest struggles that we face today.

The Media is in a frenzy because McCain dares not to participate in the smear machine

After yesterday's victory of getting Senator McCain to denounce the character assassinations and call for the return of actually debating the issues, the media is getting in a frenzy because a politician dares not to play by their rules. You would think a call for civility would be a breath of fresh air in this presidential race. You would think that America would rejoice in the fact that there just might be some hope that we can have an honest and respectful debate. Apparently we gave them just a little bit too much credit.

This headline from Time says it all: Is McCain Too Soft on Hillary?

Apparently wanting to get to the real issues instead of the smear tactics is a sign of weakness in the eyes of the media. Actually, they just might realize it's a sign of strength and they're getting worried they may have lost their control over the their ability to keep the presidential race a circus which brings in more ratings. More importantly, the circus environment allows for the smear campaign against Hillary Clinton to continue.

Read these excerpts from the article:

McCain's seeming reluctance to overtly engage in the kind of overwrought attacks on Clinton that have characterized the campaigns of the other front-runners first became apparent in early October.
-
McCain's unwillingness to make the "anyone but Hillary" argument endangers one of the most substantial rationales he makes for his candidacy: the idea that he, alone among the Republicans, can beat Clinton in the general election.

Read this carefully folks. Time magazine is conveying the message the only way to beat Hillary is to engage in "overwrought attacks." I don't know about you guys, but to us that sounds like an admission that the opposition simply cannot beat Hillary on the issues alone. The very fact that Time magazine feels that smear tactics are necessary proves this beyond a reasonable doubt.

Our favorite line from the Time smear piece: "It is temping to applaud McCain's restraint."

This is a very carefully worded sentence here folks. The word tempting has a hidden negative connotation. What Times is essentially saying is that you probably might be lured into believing restraint and a lack of bottom of the barrel tactics is a good thing, but in fact, that is necessary to beat Hillary.

What would you think of a person that said "pay no attention to that man with dignity and respect, we must continue the character assassinations." I would expect that any rational human being would find this notion to be preposterous. The fact that this backwards idea that integrity is weakness and childish behavior is strength confirms our suspicions that we've had all along: The opposition (in cahoots with the media) have no intention of having a mature discussion of the issues. They've determined that character assassination is the only way to win, and anyone that undermines the smear campaign must be also met with character assassination himself.

It's about to get dirty folks. It's about to get really really dirty.

Vote for Hillary Online Spoke. McCain Listened.

You may remember our open letter to McCain yesterday that called for him to denounce the smear tactics and get back to the issues so we can all have an honest and mature debate. It looks like people are starting to take notice to our grassroots Hillary campaign and they realize they can't get away with the under-the-radar character assassinations any longer.

Not even a day later, Newsmax writes an article entitled "McCain: I'll respect Hillary":

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain on Saturday said he won't follow his rivals' lead in taking personal shots at Democratic front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, and that voters seeking a candidate who will do that should look elsewhere.

"I think people want a respectful debate and a respectful discussion. And if they don't, then obviously, I'm not the person to be their candidate," McCain told reporters in response to questions about criticism of Clinton by Republican rivals Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.

"Legitimate policy differences, those should be debated and discussed," McCain said. "But I don't think you should take shots at people, like imitating her voice. I'm serious, I'm not sure what you gain by doing that."

This is victory, folks. We did this. Not just the staff here at Vote for Hillary Online, but all of you - the grassroots Hillary supporters. This is about as close to victory as we're going to get when it comes to combating the smear tactics. In a perfect world, the other candidates would follow McCain's lead, but they have been doing this for so long that they've forgotten how to run a campaign without running their opponent's good name through the mud.

We will remain watchful of McCain's actions to see if he keeps his word. And if he doesn't, believe me we'll be the first to bring it to you. But for now, I think it's safe to say: Mission Accomplished.

Grassroots Hillary: We can all learn something from Baghdad Bob

We all know who this guy is, it's Baghdad Bob. We all laughed at him because he continued to portray a message that everything was fine in Iraq, while it was clear that U.S. troops were just a few miles away. But I think we can all learn an important lesson from this honorable man.

His real name is Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf and he was the Chief Information Minister for Saddam Hussein's regime during the U.S. invasion in 2003. It was his job to keep morale high in Iraq, despite the inevitable circumstances that were right around the corner. Everyone ridiculed him and he became somewhat of a joke to many of those back in the U.S. At the same time he was on television claiming that U.S. troops had not entered Baghdad, we saw live video that showed they had.

The fact that he was wrong about what was occurring aside, what he displayed was true courage, loyalty, and patriotism in action. He was risking his life giving these press conferences, and I believe he knew the risks he was taking. He risked his life to calm the citizens of Iraq, to instill optimism, and ensure the people that the government was still looking after them.

He didn't have to do this. Nobody was putting a gun to his head. Saddam Hussein was long gone, hiding in a bunker somewhere. Top members of the government were fleeing by the masses. Yet one man stayed. To fulfill his duty to his country. In the face of grim horizons, he believed there was still a chance.

We can learn a lot about the way courage and optimism allows us to keep on going when everyone else wants to bring you down. It's just like the media smears and attacks by the opposition to the Hillary Campaign that we face today. We must stand strong in our convictions and not allow them to scare us into giving up.

Unfortunately for Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, he happened to be incorrect in his assessments and communications. In the case of the Hillary Campaign though, we actually have a very real opportunity to take this country back and be proud to be an American again. The opposition is shallow in their rhetoric, shallow in their convictions, and driven by all that corrupts America today. They are like a tower of playing cards, easily demolished with something as little as a gentle breeze. Let us not be intimidated by the opposition's facades of strength, but be encouraged by them revealing their weaknesses, demonstrated by the desperate smear tactics we've become familiar with all too well.

Open Letter to McCain from Vote for Hillary Online

Senator McCain is a simpleton. So we're going to keep this very short and sweet.

Dear John McCain:

When you were giving a conference in South Carolina and one of your supporters called Hillary Clinton a "bitch", you had a great opportunity take the high ground and give us all at least a little hope that there is still a glimmer of integrity in this historical presidential race. You failed miserably. You not only let your own supporters down by subscribing to the continuing smear tactics, but you let America down. Most importantly, you let Hillary down. You are a well respected man Senator McCain. And what you have just done gives the green light to all involved in this race that pandering to the lowest common denominator is fair game.

We are giving you a second chance. What is done is done, and we can't erase the past. But you do have it within yourself to remedy this situation. Vote for Hillary Online calls for you to denounce this type of behavior. We call for you to apologize not only for your supporter's actions, but for your response to those actions. Grassroots Hillary: Positive Morale

We have gotten quite a few e-mails lately from supporters worrying that Vote for Hillary Online have gotten too negative lately with our coverage. While I think it's good to be aware of the constant smear campaign going on, and we try to bring that to your attention as much as possible, I feel like you all have brought up some very good points, and it's important that we keep ourselves in check so we don't become exactly what we are so very against.

I want to reaffirm something here: our morale is very positive and unwavering. This is actually a time of celebration for us because this is the one chance we get to take back America and as grassroots Hillary supporters, we all get to be a part of that.

We've made a note of all your concerns, and in the coming days we will try to cover the more lighter sides of what's going on in the campaign, and what we can do to help.

If you haven't already, please refer back to the Grassroots Hillary Oath when you get discouraged. We suggest reading this aloud at least once a day, but everyone is different.

It's a great time to be in America. It's time for some real change that we can all be a part of. Just think, later on we can all tell our grandchildren that we voted for Hillary Clinton. This is history in the making folks.

Intellectual Debate? Impossible. Latest Tactic? Name calling.

Folks, when your enemy has to resort to name calling in order to attack you, it is right then and there that you realize you have won.

The 2008 Presidential race. We thought it could be mature. We thought we could act like adults. We thought we had put all these petty tactics behind us. We thought...we hoped that we would be living in different times right now. A time where intellectual debate triumphs and playground antics are stigmatized.

We knew Hillary Clinton would be a force to be reckoned with, and therefore attacked from all angles. But we also thought that this would be a battle of ideas and philosophies, in which each side ultimately wants America to be great once again, the only difference being how we get there.

But what we are seeing today is in stark contrast to those values and principles that we here at Vote for Hillary Online felt could be a reality.

Folks, there's no battle of ideas here in this race. There's no judgment based upon merits and values. We would like it to be so, but we cannot will that which is out of our hands.

Where am I going with all this?

Take a look at this piece by the Seattle Times. Headline: "If Hillary's a (rhymes with rich), what does that make us?"

I'm not going to post that article's contents on our blog. The gist of the story is that a John McCain supporter asked him "How do we beat the bitch?" Listen, there will always be fanatical supporters that you cannot control. But what did McCain do? He laughed, and began answering the question as if it was understood that in fact Hillary Clinton was a bitch.

Why is this important? So what if the opposition calls Hillary a bitch? I'll tell you why it's important. If there's one thing that has been consistent in this whole presidential race, it's that nobody wants to focus on Hillary's positions, her integrity, and how much of a value she will be to America if elected. This is a diversion tactic. This is telling people "who cares about positions? She's a bitch." It's an attempt to get the American people on board with this negative view of someone's character, in order to completely discredit the actually work that she will be doing, while in office, on behalf of the American people.

This has got to stop. And it has got to stop right now. I'm looking at you Senator McCain.

From Clinton the nominee to Clinton the vulernable: Don't believe the MSM

We have been covering the media with great scrutiny as of late, in order to gauge how they are twisting their version of reality in hopes that it becomes the general public's version of reality. During the democratic debate in Philadelphia on Oct. 30, Hillary stood her ground and showed how powerful she can be while being up against several competitors who are desperate and are willing to succumb themselves to bottom of the barrel tactics. How did the media portray this? Well you would have thought she was beaten to a bloody pulp the way the critics were talking about the event.

Now this most recent debate, the smear merchants are doing a very sneaky trick. They're pretending that they think she won this debate and proved everyone wrong that thought her campaign was crumbling down. Do you know why they're doing this? It's because they're getting ready to smack her back down and make a fool out of her. Everyone loves a good dramatic story where someone rises only to fall down. Hell, this concept alone is how Hollywood stays in business.

Take this article here for example:

According to the conventional wisdom, Clinton's campaign has been tumbling since a debate in Philadelphia on Oct. 30, when rivals John Edwards and Barack Obama finally screwed up the courage to point out what most folks know already.
...
Clinton put that notion to rest at a much-hyped debate on Thursday night in Las Vegas. Just as at every other all-candidates' forum, Clinton was coolly efficient as she went about repairing the damage of two weeks ago.

It's time to take a step back and note the difference between truth and perception:

Truth: Hillary without a doubt won that debate on Oct 30.
Media: Hillary wasn't as strong as we thought she was.
Truth: Hilly again shows that she is the best candidate by far and by any standard.
Media: Despite Hillary's campaign crumbling down last month, she proves everyone wrong.

We here at Vote for Hillary Online believe Hillary's campaign has always been on a straight uptick, with no resistance in sight, simply because America sees right through the garbage the media likes to feed us. The media would like you to believe this is a rollercoaster ride where, depending on what day it is, she's either up or down. Hillary Campaign finds dirt on Obama, takes the high road

Vote for Hillary Online has learned that the Hillary campaign has been informed of some serious dirt on Barack Obama that could ruin his career. Do they release this information to the media immediately to ensure that Hillary will have absolutely no opposition to contend with and guarantee a victory? Of course, they could do this. And I know a few campaigns out there that would have done just that. But Hillary Clinton has integrity, and that's exactly why many have come to love and support Hillary for the 2008 presidential election.

WASHINGTON -- Agents of Sen. Hillary Clinton are spreading the word in Democratic circles that she has scandalous information about her principal opponent for the party's presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama, but has decided not to use it. The nature of the alleged scandal was not disclosed.

This word-of-mouth among democrats makes Obama look vulnerable and Clinton look prudent. It comes during a dip for the front-running Clinton after she refused to take a stand on New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's now discarded plan to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens.

Experienced Democratic political operatives believe Clinton wants to avoid a repetition of 2004, when attacks on each other by presidential candidates Howard Dean and Richard Gephardt were mutually destructive and facilitated John Kerry's nomination.

Now, in a perfect world, everyone would realize that Hillary Clinton is taking the high road here and is doing Barack Obama a favor by not releasing this damaging information. However, as anyone who has been following us here at Vote for Hillary Online knows, they will most certainly try to spin this to make Hillary look like the antagonist.

Was Barack thankful for the fact that the Hillary Clinton campaign decided to keep his dirty secrets in the closet? No. In fact, he actually demands that we release the information!

Diamonds or Pearls

You're not going to believe what people are getting worked up about now. It's simply incomprehensible. Last night during the democratic debate on CNN, a student in the audience asked Hillary Clinton if she preferred diamonds or pearls. Hillary responded that she likes them both equally.

If you're anything like us here at Vote for Hillary Online you're probably wondering, okay..so..where's the story here.

Well the dirty opposition is claiming that CNN forced this student to ask a so-called softball question in order to make Hillary look good. Folks, we watched 10 minutes of this "debate" (a.k.a gang-up-on-Hillary session) and there was nothing about this that made Hillary look good. It was perfectly designed to look objective and honest but we all saw right through that.

Take a look at this article here that covers this "story". As hard as they try to make it look like CNN is in cahoots with Hillary (when we know the opposite is true), they also concede the fact that this question was actually one of the questions the student wrote down. This was not a question made by CNN or the Hillary campaign, and given to a random student to ask. This is someone who wrote down several questions to be asked, just in case one of them had already been covered. Well it turns out one of her questions was over Yucca Mountain, and they had already spent way too much time on this topic already. What is also true is that this was the last question of the debate and they needed a quick one because time was running out. This is the most overblown crap I have ever witnessed in all of covering Hillary's campaign. And the dirty tricks are only going to get worse.

Democratic Debate: Television turned off

Here's what our television looked like during the Democratic Debate tonight:

That's right, completely turned off. We here at Vote for Hillary Online suspected it would be a huge attack fest, and that's exactly what it was. We watched the first 10 minutes and that's all we could take. We would have liked to report on the topics discussed during the debate, but we thought it was more important that we didn't give CNN or Hillary's opponents any legitimacy by giving their charade any more attention. We have absolutely nothing to gain from seeing Hillary being slammed and smeared from every angle. It's quite sickening, to be down right honest. It's a circus. Barack Obaba and John Edwards try to portray this whole image that they're so much better than Hillary and that they've never lied before. Vote for Hillary Online sees right through this, and I'd like to be able to say that the rest of America does too. Actually, we're quite confident in America's ability to see through the trash.

If you happened to sit through the debate, I want you to sit here and spend 2 hours staring at these trash bags. Because that's basically what you've already been doing this evening.

Democratic Debate Tonight On CNN 8pm ET

There will be a Democratic debate tonight on CNN at 8pm ET. It will be held at the University of Nevada and hosted by Wolf Blitzer. Folks, if this even goes down anything like the last debate, where everyone plays a game of gang-up-on-Hillary, then I suggest we don't even watch it. What we suggest you do is, watch the first 5 minutes of the debate. Go into it with an open mind. But if you hear one attack on Hillary, whether by Wolf Blitzer or by her opponents, the thing to do is just turn off the television.

We need to hold CNN accountable if they let this turn into yet another Hillary Clinton smear campaign. If this in fact goes down the way I suspect it will, then we need to boycott all advertisers that will be marketing during the debate, and we certainly don't need to hear anymore of the opposition's rhetoric. I repeat, if this turns into yet another smear campaign, then boycott CNN's advertisers. This hits them right in the pocketbook. If we lived in a perfect world, everyone would see Hillary Clinton as our only hope, and instead of attacking her, they'd be praising her for politically prowess. But unfortunately we live in a world where greed and ignorance trumps intellectual honesty, and we need to act accordingly.

We suggest you write this oath down on an index card and put it in your wallet. Whenever you start to feel discouraged, whether it's a smear campaign against Hillary getting you down, or you start to become fatigued about your efforts, take this note card out and read it outloud. James tells us that it's not unusual for him to repeat this oath more than 10 times a day, and I know he's not the only one.

The flag incident: a setup by the opposition to smear Hillary Clinton

Apparently the mainstream media and many in the blogosphere have nothing better to talk about today than a couple flags falling down behind Hillary Clinton this past Veteran's Day. From cbsnews.com:

If you want to be president, it's important to act – and look – presidential. Staff members and campaign consultants spend countless hours setting up the perfect backdrop and the perfect settings for their candidate. But sometimes things don't go as planned.

During a Veteran's Day campaign stop in Waterloo, Iowa, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton stood before five American flags and addressed members of the press. After her media availability, Clinton turned around to depart. In a matter of seconds one of the flags came crashing down, followed by another and another. What ensued was an unscripted moment of panic where both staffers and the Senator were reaching to grab the flags. Mrs. Clinton was heard saying, "I don't think - I think the bases are not weighted."

An unscripted moment of panic? From a couple of flags falling down? Is this really what "journalism" has come to? This is just more pile-on from the press in an attempt to portray that the Hillary campaign is somehow crumbling apart.

But there's something very strange about all this. We here are Vote for Hillary Online have gotten our hands on the video tape of this event, and have had time to analyze it. We've come to suspect that this wasn't just some accident. How many times have you seen flags just magically start falling down out of nowhere?

We have taken some screen captures of the video and have come to a stunning conclusion: this was a clear setup by the opposition. And we got it caught on tape.

Folks this was without a doubt a deliberate attempt to make Hillary Clinton look bad. I can't even count how many times today I heard lame phrases such as "America falls down when Hillary's around har har". You got to be out of your mind if you think this was an accident. Just who was this person who opened the curtain just enough so she could put her hand out to tip the flag over? Where is the mainstream media scrutiny over this?

It is time that we realize that the mainstream media is NOT on our side. To the contrary, they're trying to do everything they can to defeat us.

Alert: hold off on Mission: Bumper Sticker

We have had e-mails just pouring in these past few hours here at Vote for Hillary Online about the legalities of putting bumper stickers on cars. Many of you have said that the act of putting a bumper sticker on someone else's car without their permission is illegal. We haven't had time to fully research these property laws so for now, unfortunately we think the best thing to do is to call off Mission: Bumper Sticker. This has been a real blow to a lot of us. Jerry Lipton from Kansas had just bought 2,000 bumper stickers and was planning on spending the whole afternoon at a shopping mall today. It was a very hard phone call to make, to someone who has put all of his time and effort into this grassroots campaign. But I don't think we should allow these minor setbacks to hurt our morale - after all, that's exactly what the opponents want to happen.

For now we think it would be best to focus on the e-mail campaign. E-mail everyone you know and tell them to support Hillary Clinton. Make sure you also let them know why, too. It's very important people realize that this is our last chance to take back America.

Grassroots Hillary. Mission: Bumper Sticker

We here at Vote for Hillary Online have mentioned this a few times before, but I don't think we spent enough time focusing on this specific grassroots tactic. This is something we like to call Mission: Bumper sticker.

Everyone knows that putting your candidate's bumper sticker on your car is a good way to spread the word and get the name recognition out there. Btw, if you haven't done this by now, shame on you. One thing that isn't done so often though is putting bumper stickers on cars besides yours. Now, I understand this is a very controversial topic and there has been a lot of debate on this among the grassroots supporters. However, it is the opinion of Vote for Hillary Online, that despite some issues a few of you may have with this, it's actually a very effective way to increase exposure.

I'm going to address a few concerns:

It damages private property. This is absolutely false. It's a sticker and it can be pulled off just as easily as it was put on.
People will be turned off if they feel the message is forced. Again, in our experience this hasn't been found to be true. For every one jerk that doesn't appreciate us putting a Hillary bumper sticker on his car, there are 99 other people who realize that politics plays a very important role in sustaining freedom and prosperity in America.

Here are some tips:

1. You want to go to a highly concentrated parking lot where new cars are constantly coming in. Think Wal-Mart. You can get a lot more cars done in a smaller amount of time in this environment.

2. Bring your kids with you. This is something I learned a long time ago in previous campaigns. When I would do this alone, people looked at me with suspicion - some even thought I was up to no good. When you have your kids there with you, it puts people at ease and portrays a more positive image not only to yourself, but the grassroots Hillary campaign.

3. Place the bumper stickers on each car very quickly, you don't want to be crouched down next to someone's car for very long. We had a guy in Indiana who had a bad back, so he had to take his time with crouching down and placing the bumper stickers. What happened was, this car owner arrived and got in his car without even seeing the grassroots campaigner and almost ran him over. We don't want to have any accidents out there, please be safe. The last thing we need is another negative headline involving the Hillary Clinton campaign.

4. Don't stay in one area. You don't want to have your individual grassroots effort limited to one very small geographical region. What some supporters have suggested is changing what parking lot you go to every 3 days.

5. Most important: Have fun. We're all doing this because we want to take back America but let's not forget that if we're not having fun, we probably won't do a good job.

Alright so I've been hearing concerns from Hillary supporters because of all of these latest smear hit pieces. Let me show you what we're up against, you'll see that no other candidate stands a chance (let alone has the attributes of compassion, loyalty, patriotism, and integrity that only Hillary has).

John Edwards: yesterday's news. Nobody cares about him anymore, his only role now is to smear hillary.

Barack Obama: Absolutely no substance. He talks about a new kind of politics but never gets to any detail about what he stands for.

Chris Dodd: fringe candidate. No chance in hell.

Joe Biden: he has street cred but nothing else.

Dennis Kucinich: people are already starting to suspect he's from mars. No competition here.

Mike Gravel: nuts.

Bill Richardson: who? He's only running this race to expand his name recognition.

Mitt Romney: No way a Mormon could be elected president.

Giuliani: pro-war cross dresser. Not a chance.

John McCain: his party has abandoned him.

Fred Thompson: a dummied down Dr. Phil. Too lazy, no substance.

Ron Paul: fringe candidate.

Tom Tancredo: who?

Mike Huckabee: Former baptist minister. The last thing America wants is a theocracy.

And that's it folks. Could you really imagine any of these candidates seriously beating Hillary? No way Jose.

Here a smear, there a smear, everywhere a smear smear

The vicious attacks lately on the Hillary Campaign have been absolutely ridiculous. To all of our members at Vote for Hillary Online: we cannot respond to all of your emails, but believe me we feel your concern. But here is what's happening: they are trying to divide our efforts. They're trying to get us to fight each other. You know in the movies where there are 2 bad guys going after the good guy, and just about when they have the guy cornered, the bad guys start fighting each other and the good guy ends up getting away? This is what they're trying to make us do, they're trying to split the grassroots forces in an attempt to make us turn on each other so we're not as effective. Guess what? We're too strong for that. We're not taking the bait. Everyone sees these smear tactics for what they are and we are unwavering in our support.

Do not for a second believe that these latest hit pieces are hurting Hillary's image. Most people are smart enough to realize that none of these things even matter anyway. Not leaving a tip? That's news? Is the media going to start camping out at restaurants to see who tips and who doesn't? I mean give me a break. Planting people in the audience to ask questions? Again, NOBODY CARES, GET OVER IT.

You can try all day long mainstream media, but everyone sees your smear tactics for what they are. It is unfathomable to think that this is how you treat the future president of the United States. Unbelievable.

Hillary campaign being smeared for planting a reporter

Ok we have been getting a lot of e-mails at Vote For Hillary Online about this supposed scandal where Hillary had planted reporters asking questions during a press conference.

Here's an excerpt:

Hillary Clinton stopped at a bio-diesel plant in Newton, Iowa earlier this week to see alternative fuels in the making and drive home the week's campaign theme of her energy plan. After a tour, the candidate took questions from the crowd.

She called on a young woman. "As a young person," said the well-spoken Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, "I'm worried about the long-term effects of global warming. How does your plan combat climate change?"

"Well, you should be worried," Clinton replied. "You know, I find as I travel around Iowa that it's usually young people that ask me about global warming."

There's a good reason for that, too. The question was a plant, totally rigged in advance, like a late-night infomercial. Just before the public forum a Clinton staffer had chosen the young woman, a student at Grinnell College, and asked her to ask that specific question.

Trouble is, the young woman told others and today her account showed up on the Grinnell website, including mention that the staffer signaled Clinton who to call on.

There is a lot of misinformation going around today about this story. People claim that Hillary herself planted this reporter, others say she had no knowledge of it, but it was a member of her campaign staff. It is the opinion of the staff of Vote for Hillary Online that these are minor details and everyone is missing the big picture: It is not illegal to plant reporters or have people ask certain questions during a press conference. There is nothing wrong at all in doing this. Hillary wanted to make her point on climate change clear, and a good way to do this was to have someone else bring this up. There is nothing wrong with this - please do not allow yourself to become brainwashed by the mainstream media that there is something unethical going on here.

Look, running a presidential campaign, quick frankly, can be a dirty business. Sometimes it will appear that something unethical is going on. But you cannot allow yourself to be brainwashed by the competition. You must keep focused on the message of Hillary Clinton, and let others worry about the silly tricks going on. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate that will take back America and breathe new life into it. We can't let these smears effect our morale. Focus on the big picture.

I have a message to all the Hillary Clinton supporters who e-mailed me about this story: if you were out doing grassroots campaign work, you wouldn't have even heard of this story so the fact that you had the time to e-mail us shows you're not working hard enough. I got an e-mail from Greg Thompson last night and he spent 10 hours in the parking lot of a popular shopping mall, putting bumper stickers on cars, spreading the good word. You think he gets all worked up over silly stories like this? Again, I must stress - focus on the big picture, which is taking back America. Hope, prosperity, patriotism. I want to be proud to be an American again. I think we all do. Let's see how much we can promote Hillary today. Remember - nothing happens without a grassroots effort.
