Bill Clinton needs to get back on the campaign trail

Folks, we're entering some difficult times as of late because of problems with the Hillary campaign's management. It is very unfortunate that the one candidate that can give hope to America once again has the most incompetent staff of all the campaigns. We need to get Bill Clinton back on the campaign trail. Where is he? Yes we have Hillary's mother and Chelsea out there with her, but they simply don't have the star power that Bill Clinton has. Let's face it - without Bill, Hillary is nothing. He is her biggest asset. So to keep him hidden in the closet during this very important part of the presidential race is beyond stupid.

Today I received an e-mail from Bill Clinton practically begging for money. I really hope this e-mail didn't go out to very many people, because it just reeks of desperation.

Dear VFHO,

It's one thing to have good intentions, another thing altogether to change the reality of people's lives. Hillary has been changing people's lives for as long as I've known her.

She did it in Arkansas when she made major improvements to our schools. She did it in the aftermath of September 11, when she helped first responders get the medical care they needed. She's done it in the U.S. Senate, where she has worked to make sure we fulfill our promises to our troops, veterans, and their families.

She has never let setbacks stop her. When our health care reforms didn't pass in the 90's, she rolled up her sleeves and got right back to work on the Children's Health Insurance Program, which insures six million kids in America today.

That's Hillary, the best combination of heart and mind, of leadership ability and feel for the problems of other people I've ever known. She's also our best candidate to beat the Republicans for one reason: because she would make the best president. She's got great plans for universal health care, good jobs, access to college, ending the war in Iraq, and restoring America's position in the world; and she's been tested in the kind of campaign they always run.

Why do we have Bill Clinton in charge of sending e-mails? Again, he is the most important part of Hillary's campaign and should be out front and center. The campaign is dropping the ball and I'll be damned if I'm just going to sit by the sidelines and watch what chance we had crumble away. Please contact the campaign and let them know how you feel. I've been trying to get on the phone with them all day but apparently their staff is too busy sending out desperate e-mails begging for money. What happened to the hope, the passion, the message of peace and prosperity? I hate to be negative here folks but the fire that was once lit inside my soul is slowly being put out by the incompetency I have been witnessing day after day. I do have a glimmer of hope left though because it is not too late, if the campaign makes some changes and they make them right now. But the primaries are right around the corner and we need to get our act together.

For now, we need you all to keep up with the mission: restroom grassroots campaign. Apparently we can't count on the campaign to promote Hillary so we'll have to do all the work ourselves. I think now would be a good time to refer back to the Grassroots Hillary Oath - feel free to print that off if you haven't already.

Chelsea is back and hotter than ever

In an effort to come across as more down to earth to the average Joe, Hillary Clinton has begun bringing her mother and daughter with her on the campaign trail. This is a great tactic because it shows the undecided voters and even Hillary's detractors that she's not just about power seeking, she has a loving family like everyone else and can relate with everyday Americans. Not only that, but we here at Vote for Hillary Online have had a secret crush on Chelsea for years and it's great to see her back.

Hillary's Campaign Managers Need To Get Their Act Together

Folks, we hate to be negative around here because we know that positive morale is very important for a grassroots campaign to stay motivated. But there is a growing trend with the official Hillary Clinton Campaign that is simply inexcusable. There is a reoccurring problem of Hillary arriving late to important conferences and endorsement meetings. Even worse, sometimes she doesn't even show up, leaving hundreds of supporters waiting for her.

Earlier this past November, there was a scheduled event in Bakersfield, California where Hillary was to give a speech to the Sikh community. From nysun.com:

Traditional food, elaborate costumes, and ritual sword fighting were on display as thousands of Sikhs celebrated a religious festival here yesterday, but the expected guest of honor, Senator Clinton, was a no-show. Mrs. Clinton also scuttled a fund-raising breakfast at a nearby fairgrounds where Sikh leaders had hoped to raise $1 million for her presidential campaign.

Mrs. Clinton's campaign offered no public explanation for the change of plans, though a spokesman seemed to confirm that she had been expected to visit with Sikhs in Bakersfield yesterday.

No big deal, right? Who cares about the Sikh community. Well, I don't know about you all, but it appears that she missed out on a $1 million fund raiser. We're talking free money here - the Sikh community had it all organized, and all Hillary had to do was show up. What makes this worse is that the campaign offered no reason for the cancellation, not even an attempt to justify this mistake. As for that $1 million? They're now planning on giving it to another candidate instead.

"I'll take $1 million from our Sikh people and give it to people who are going to work with us … not somebody who says they're going to work with you and deserts you at the end"

This was a disaster, a lost opportunity, and it filled up the press that day with negative quotes from Sikh community members. I'm really beginning to question just what kind of "leadership" is running this campaign.

More recently, there was a press conference held where Hillary was endorsed by New Hampshire's first lady and pediatrician Susan Lynch. The first line in the press covering this event? The fact that she was an hour late to this important endorsement.

Think this was just an isolated incident that can be explained away by extreme weather conditions? Think again. From washingtonpost.com on the health care debate in Ankeny, Iowa:

ANKENY, Iowa -- She was two hours late after her campaign plane blew a tire. But when Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton finally arrived here this afternoon, she offered her harshest critique yet of Sen. Barack Obama's approach to health care reform.

This is a growing trend that we're becoming more aware of, and it shows the incompetence of Hillary's campaign management not only to us grassroots supporters, but to the rest of America that is still undecided. These types of errors are unprofessional and must be addressed immediately.

Join us in demanding that Hillary's campaign management either get their act together, or step down and let more experience personnel take over. Hillary Clinton is our only hope to take back America and I'm not about to let a few screw-offs in her campaign ruin this chance for us.

Man Takes Several Hostage at Hillary Campaign Office In N.H.

The ordeal is fortunately all over now and has ended peacefully, but earlier today a crazed lunatic walked into Hillary Clinton's New Hampshire campaign office and claimed to have a bomb.

New Hampshire TV station WMUR is reporting that an armed man has taken people hostage at Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign office in Rochester, N.H. FOX News is reporting that the man claimed to have a bomb and walked into the office demanding to speak with the New York senator.

[UPDATE 6:30] The crisis appears to have ended peacefully, with the suspect surrendering to police.

Folks, this just goes to show just how desperate the opposition has been getting as of late. It used to be that they just smeared Hillary in the media. Now you have guys with bombs storming the campaign office. If it wasn't evident before that we need some serious change in America, it should be downright obvious by now. The fact that lunatics are trying to stop our efforts is proof enough that we are the lone voice of sanity engulfed in a sea of confusion and hysteria. It's time for the American people to see through the clutter and realize that Hillary Clinton is our only hope for taking back America and getting it under control.

Folks, this is the one thing we have failed to mention enough. Campaign financing is probably the most important aspect of being able to successfully run a presidential campaign and ultimately win. If a candidate doesn't have the money, they don't get respect from the media, and they don't have the means to run important ads on television. It's a sad state of affairs these days, but the fact is - the candidate with the most money is the one that wins the election. We didn't choose this, but this is the game we have to play in order to win.

Hillary Clinton needs our help. More importantly, her campaign needs our dollars. Without financial help, no matter how great she is as a candidate, the people simply will not be able to hear her message. We have got to start coming together in this effort, and realize that this cause is much more important than our individual lives. The time is now, folks. And the candidate is Hillary Clinton. We need to start being more conservative in our spending so we can save up for Hillary's campaign.

I just got an e-mail from Todd Brenker in St. Louis, and he's been spending the whole week looking under couch cushions for extra change. I won't post his e-mail here, but he has a very moving story to tell about sacrifice, courage, and honor. This is about regular folk coming together with what little means they have, and collectively turning it into a big movement. A movement we can all be proud of. Something we can look back on later on and realize that we were apart of it all.

The time is ticking and the primaries are just around the corner. If we don't all come together in support Hillary, not just by our grassroots campaign efforts but also our generous donations, then this could very well slip through our fingers. We're doing all we can, I hope to God you all are too.

Flipper TV: Exposing the Republican Front Runners

Folks, with the competition getting fierce these days where Hillary is getting smeared from all angles, we're always trying to get dirt on the other candidates and catch them in uncompromising situations. Well it looks like the Democratic Party had the same idea, and they actually followed around Republicans on the campaign trail in disguise as supporters, in order to catch them in their most embarrassing moments. This is the most genius idea yet, and we're a bit jealous that we didn't think of it first.

This morning we received an e-mail from Mike Gehrke, Research Director for the Democratic National Committee:

For a few months, we've had Democratic Party "trackers" recording hundreds of hours of Republican candidates in the field. From event to event, we've got footage of some pretty revealing moments. Folks, we just got a letter from one of our grassroots Hillary supporters that we need to address. Basically this person says they would like to help with the grassroots campaign, but they just don't have enough time. I'm going to post his message here so you can all see what I'm talking about. We won't mention specifically who it was so as not to embarrass him.

I am a huge Hillary Clinton supporter and have following what you guys have been doing for a while. I think this is great that supporters have a resource they can go to and start making some real changes on their own. I really wish I could join in and help with the cause, the bumper sticker campaign sounded like a lot of fun. But I recently went through a divorce with my wife, I'm raising 3 kids by myself, and I'm trying to hold down 2 jobs to make ends meet. It's getting pretty tough...I've just been too busy to help out. Is there anyway someone like me can join in the grassroots campaign? I know a little html, maybe I could help with the website. Just let me know.

We've gotten a few e-mails like this from various Hillary Clinton supporters. Let me tell you something: if you don't do everything you can to ensure Hillary Clinton is elected in 2008 and she ends up losing, your measly 2 jobs will be the least of your worries. These things that seem important now and justify our time away from supporting Hillary will seem like nothing when you see what the other candidates have in store for ruining America. It's time we quit with the excuses. If you're not out there every day busting your ass for Hillary, then you're working against the campaign. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. We have got to make some sacrifices and stop whining around. That's how you lose a campaign. People start worrying about all these meaningless distractions in their lives. Next thing you know, the opposition will win and in a few years we'll all be speaking Arabic. Yes, it's possible.

And no, we don't need any of your "help" with the website, thanks. I know that most of our supporters think we're doing just fine in that regard. It's time to get off your ass and do something. Nobody ever won an election sitting around on the internet all day long. I'm simply tired of all the excuses, and I know a lot of you out there are too.

I apologize if I came off as a little harsh, but this simply had to be addressed. We appreciate all of the support and effort, but if we could all just sacrifice a little more, victory would be that much more possible.
